I think GDS was easily the best player, although Lennon was on fire.

Our possession play and quick, one-touch football was outstanding.

The whole team were good, sort of glad it was King that made the error, got it out of his system, and if it was a younger member of the squad, it might have affected them more.

Dos Santos was awesome, as was Bent.

Gomes worries me, a lot, but hopefully he'll settle in, he looks TOO alert, always ready to sprint out to the ball unnecessarily.

The whole team gave a really professional performance, but not lacking in Tottenham style and flair.

Also, O'Hara needs to calm down, it was only a pre-season friendly, but he looks like he could be our "new tainio" --> spurs fan, tenacious, decent player, gives his all.

Just think of Dos santos playing on the left, Lennon on the right both pushing on helping Bent play upfrount!! Bale at left back Hutton/Gunter right back bombing up and down the wings

.

Thanks for reminding me.

I'm also glad it was King that messed up for their goal, because if it was anyone else like, say, O'Hara or Dawson, they would have been branded incompetent and a liability by a fair few members of this Community.

i was really impressed with the way our full backs were overlapping and supporting the attack play, gunter had a good game,

and bent scored a diving header!!!!! diving headers are like the best goals ever

can someone post how we lined up please.

As i see it was 4-2-3-1 but would like to know who played where exactly.

Also did the subs slip into place of who they replaced?

It was Bent up front with Modric slightly behind - or that's how Santa Claus sports had it set out on their bogey graphics when they showed the teams.

People need to show some support for Bent, everyone goes on about Huntelaar but Dazza would score just as many goals given a run in the team. Good win, and we can hopefully build on this in the feyenoord tournament. Also I think as some people have rightly pointed out o hara is a very good player to have, versatile and hard working with real potential. I can imagine the people saying he's not good enough saying the same about Barry 5 years ago.

Barry still isn't good enough though. i ope the goons get him. half as mobile as Flamini with a higher propensity to go missing... if they couldn't handle our pass and move with flamini and Fabregas against jenas and Zokora they don't stand a cance with Barry V modric

It wasn't a mess up though it was a slip that is not relfection on ability more the type of stud. if any of the others had slipped i'd say the same.

It looked to me initially like a diamond with Zokora at the base, O'Hara and Jenas left and right and Modric at the top. Dos Santos seemed to have a free role with Bent staying central. Things became more fluid and flexible as the game progressed and Norwich were worn out. Movement and quick one, two touch passing were very much the key.
