Now onto King and Bale - all summer I've been concerned about their fitness - but we've been tolsd time and again by various people - some ITKS indeed- there's nothing to worry about

Well seeing is believing and I've not seen them play in one match so far

So as from today I'm officially worrying

I also stated for the first couple of months of this summers (may/june) saying we needed a LB as a priority signing along with a CB, beside a keeper, a DM and replacements for any key players that left

I got talked out of the LB - maybe more fool me - cos it's starting to look again to me like we need one

I look forward to the Norwich game with massive interest

And where's our CB?

I got some great feedback on Lennon from PT who says he was brilliant - skinning everyone.

Apparently Dos Santos was often having the ball taken off him but Berba played well and Santos came more in to the game and linked well with Berba with each of them looking for eachother.

Shame the guy's gots to go

Doubtless we'll get to see the goal conceded soon - then we can debate it

I would have have said there's way too many people on this site, spurs sites in general and in the grounds on matchdays who completely underrate and verbally attack JJ for no good reason

historically, pre-season transfers/training/etc will have very little effect on any club's progress... therefore, nothing matters until the first game of the season... that's a stu fact!

No your wrong, the previous two seasons we have coasted to lots of victories and had really poor starts in the league. Ramos is working them much harder. They may look tired now, but it will pay off come Boro away...!

what has a massive effect on a team is when a lot of the players are injured and we can't field a good enough team

That was probably the main part of our downfall v Makems and toffees last season

from memory no King no Bale in either of them - and I wouldn't bet one virtual cash unit on either of them starting at Boro -

indeed I'll actually offer 5/4 here now that both won't start - depsite fantasy team after fantasy team after fantasy team telling us different

- a triumph of hope over experience I reckon

The standard back four given on here by most of the fantasy teams - is Hutton Woodgate King Bale - mmm let's see who takes to the field v Boro

Incidentally if people argue these teams are just dreams, fantasies, not the probable reality - fair enough we'll agree on that

I wish people would stop reading too much into these teams. The fact that there was no Berbs in the last game obviously meant sweet fuck all as he's playing today. It will be the same for Keane. Ramos is obviously just trying a few things out.

Modric has been off for a month, he will be training more before he gets his first game.

By all the reports I've read, Gomes played really well and was at no fault at all for the goal...

Although no douibt Robbo would have got the blame for it.

It is just a pre-season friendly though, I know people are playing for their places, but the dead certs will not not want to get injured this close to the season and are probably being told not to go out 100%
