Ok, pretty stupid really, but it will be something no-one would have guessed. It wont be a ramos formation with someone or another out of position or an unexpected inclusion - judging by his team selections this season anyway, he wasn't so bad last term.

RizL4's formation looks pritty good to me. but bent up top on his own dosnt seem to work but worth a go in uefa i guess.

Yeah, I'd start him, the pace is much slower than the prem, it makes him look good when he has all day on the ball to pick a pass.

you know what i meant! usually theres a different team in every post, this is about the most consistent ive ever seen

maybe alot of similar teams cos squad is tight, modric defo injured,and players cuptied..

i have another experimental formation here with lennon pushed up front linking the midfield with bent, i dont think pav and bent should play together just yet until they gel in training. lennon should be told to stay as high as possible but will naturally drop back looking for the ball

Play bentley alongside Jenas and see if we can get a partnership going in there cos Hudd/Zoko, Jenas/Hudd, Jenas/Zoko do not work!!!!

Gilberto has to be played, he obviously has quality but has not had time to adapt!!

If things are not going well stick O'Hara in the mix to get stuck in but i think the above team could gel and begin to produce the goods

Guess the team selection is mainly going to depend on a combination injuries (Zokora, for example) and whether players are rested (King, Bentley - according to Balague hes being trained up), but i do think he might give another LB a go and possibly O'Hara.

Then again, he might just play the strongest XI to try and get back on track, after realising (according to Poyet) that a mistake had been made by not fielding the strongest team on Monday.

I would also hope that Daws is benched after a poor performance against Villa, but he may be forced to play if King is rested again and Hudd isnt desired in that position/is playing in midfield.

Jenas looked decent for England on the left, and when he was on the left vs. Villa. He needs to play with no responsibility so stick him on the left and have genuine pace in Lennon and Dos Santos supporting Bent.

Hudd to sit and spray the ball. O'Hara to snap ankles.
