Without seeing a huge amount of VDB he strikes me as a similar player as GLC, for the amount he would cost I would rather spend the money elsewhere

He is more similar to Dele. Eventually i think he can become a CM, but right now he does well what Dele brings to the table. I really rate VDB, but i dont think he should be looked as a creative player. I like this signing because beetween him and Dele, we have two players that move really well beetween the lines and attack the box.

If we signed VDB then the creative onus will be on Lo Celso who will be pushed forward imo.

3 man midfield with PEH and GIO. If we go 4231, he can play as a 10 or an 8 next to PEH allowing Gio to play further up the field. Problem is, we’re setting ourselves up to be over reliant on LoCelso to create from the midfield like we did with Eriksen if we don’t bring in another creative center midfielder

Imagine having competition for places all over the park though might put a boot up deles arse as well plus the amount of games were going to have to play we need a big squad..still think hes nailed on for united

All of the Red Bull clubs are selling clubs at the end of the day, it's inherent to their model. But there's little doubt that they'd be looking for a big fee and I'm not sure I see us paying it, perhaps if we got our money back for Ndombele but that seems very unlikely.

18/19 he played more advanced, but this year Ajax tried him deeper sometimes, but i must say tht right now I think he is better up front, but i truly believe that in a few years he can become a top CM. Reminds me a lot of Schweinsteiger when he was young. Its absurd to bet he will end up that good, but that shows how much i like him, because Schweinsteiger is my all time favorite player.
