Various newspaper reports over past year but some recent ITK from Hercules.

Left out of Ajax squad.

Could see Ajax being after Foyth and he’s been left out the last 2 games. Not sure we would need him unless N’Dombele goes, quite stacked in that area!

As I said in the ITK thread, not sure what to think of this one.

Obviously a good player but his strengths are in his off the ball movement and intelligence etc. We've plenty of smart runners (Alli, Son, Kane, Bergwijn) but we really lack players who can find them, especially if Ndombele goes. Not sure Van De Beek would really solve our problems tbh.

This would be massive for us. A midfield three of PEH, Lo Celso and Van de Beek would be outstanding in both work rate and skill.

As for the player going the other way, Sess has been linked with them, but Foyth has been out the last two games and fits the Ajax mould in terms of talent, age and play style.

Would love this so much

He would be an ideal player to come in if Ndombele leaves. Tanguys strength is dribbling and line breaking passes. van de Beek isn’t as elite at either of those things as Ndombele but he’s still quite good. He’s got more goals and assists in him than most central midfielders but the idea of playing Hojbjerg with GLC and Ndombele ahead in a 3 person midfield still works - might work better because of van de Beeks work rate.

agreed - would be great experience for Foyth if that were the case

He'd find them. He is quietly very good at linking things together, can play deep or as a n10 too very versatile.

I don't see where United would be interested, They have Bruno and Pogba who are pretty much the same type of player that he is, in both the 10 and the 8. He's not displacing either of them. Why would they spend that much money on someone who doesn't improve their XI?

Their depth is horrendous

Very reminiscent of the Bergwijn transfer but the fact Ndombele is still here and the guy who broke the news hasn’t namechecked us, I can’t see it happening.

This guy is the real deal in my opinion. Played a bit deeper last season due De Jong leaving and was equally as good. In all seriousness he is/would be a better option than Ndombele, more energy, better defensively etc. But.... no CL and UTD interest could be a problem.
