If King joins, maybe Norwegian will make room for us in their coverage, amidst the continuing wank fest surrounding Man United and Liverpool.
is he home-grown?

31, 36, 33, 35 and 26 league appearances respectively in each of the past five seasons.Yes he is. Came through the ranks at Manchester United
I'm not totally opposed at signing him, but he seems to be having more and more minor injuries over the years.
And there lies the problem - Bournemouth don't need the cash at this moment, all their players are on wage deductions in the Championship and they probably would get more value from King helping their promotion chase than by selling for a low amount. I think it was Ally Gold who was saying Bournemouth wanted silly money and somewhere else saw the £25m being mentioned. Unless King kicks up a fuss, i'm not sure they'll deal at a price we're willing to pay. He's got a year left, there's no way they'd want that much IMO. They supposedly want £25-30m for Wilson who is probably more important for them and has 3 years left on his contract.
I'm swear that was for Wilson.I think it was Ally Gold who was saying Bournemouth wanted silly money and somewhere else saw the £25m being mentioned.

King wins more aerial duels than Wilson which is worth noting.King's only been allowed to play up front as the main striker one season for Bournemouth, that's the season he scored 16 in the league, with his versatility making it easier for Eddie Howe to let King do a job out of position - left wing, support striker etc. The reason why King hasn't played more as a striker at Bournemouth isn't because he can't, but that it makes more sense to do so with Wilson who's the more limited forward. King's stronger than Son in the hold up game, playing as a lone striker isn't an issue for King and it opens up for Son to stay in his primary position. King's not a target man, but then again we don't play with one. When we go direct we tend to to it on the ground or send the ball in the room behind defenders. Which suit King who's one of the fastest and hardest working strikers in the league.
They're the same height, easy to think King is taller and Wilson shorter than they are, due to their playing style.
I think it comes from King being much stronger and more powerful. Les Ferdinand was the same, at the same height as these two as well 1.80 m (5 ft 11 in)
I honestly cannot see Bournemouth keeping him against his will - even if he doesn't make a fuss about it. He has been a "loyal" Bournemouth player for years. And he has reached an age where he cannot really allow to "waste" a season at a lower level.
I would be shocked if he didn't get sold, but I am sure there are quite a few clubs after him so no need for Bournemouth to sort out the situation quickly.
It was both.. he was saying they were asking about £30m for Wilson, £25m for King. Seems like crazy money for a player in last year of contract (King) so will see how it plays outI'm swear that was for Wilson.
