Can only really judge his last two performances so maybe a little premature, but can see Dier pushing Kaboul out and becoming a more likely starter alongside Vertonghen if he continues in the same form or better. Kaboul just seems a bit ropey at times and for me he was our biggest weak link of the 11 against WH.

Other than that tho my squad in my head, realistically, is pretty much same as yours, although I'm hopeful we'll turn our attentions to a winger if MS isn't going to happen. I personally think that would be money better spent considering the players we already have at DM

If Musacchio came in I could see Kaboul going too tbh. Wasn't sure if Dier was ready to be feasibly 4th choice but after West Ham perhaps he is.

Here would be my transfer plan for the last two weeks. Of course easier said that done, but still -

Sell Dembele to Southampton so that we can get Schneiderlin. Maybe Mousa + 7 million would be fair.

Sell Dawson and Kaboul - around 10-12 million for the pair.

Sell Naughton - 5 mil, Sandro - 10 mil, Lennon or Townsend - 10 mil.

So that gives us 28-30 million to spend, so we can buy Depay (15 mil) and Musacchio (17 mil) with a 4 million net spend.

So our squad would be:

GK: Lloris, Vorm, Friedel
DF: Walker, Yedlin (when he arrives), Dier, Vertonghen, Musacchio, Chiriches, Davies, Rose
CM: Schneiderlin, Capoue, Bentaleb, Paulinho, Mason

Im assuming you dont like DMs because your selling all of them.

I think we need to offload Dawson, Naughton, Obika, Khumalo, BAE, one of either Dembele or Paulinho (depending on who Poch thinks will work best in his system), Sandro, if we bring in MS and Lennon if we can bring in Depay.

Loan (or sell) Fryers, Carroll & Cebellos.

If Walker is injured and we need someone more solid in defense, we can use Kaboul, Dier or Musacchio, who can all play there.

In Jan, I think we should asses Mason & Dembele or Paulinho, Selling one of them, who hasn't impressed and the same with Chadli & Townsend, replacing one with Rodriguez, if he has fully recovered from his injury.
