The problem this season is the 25 man squad ruling, the club obviously won't wanna give too much away regarding signings / players leaving.

I'm not 100% sure these are the exact squad numbers as last season Harry used our old numbers for most of pre-season and then tweaked them near the start of the season.

Although not having signed anyone aside from Sando who hasn't even arrived yet, or sold anyone of significance yet I guess there isn't much to change at the moment.

Parrett is a season long loan according to Argyle's website, but the month thing is mentioned on ours because we have the right to recall him after 28 days, due to his age. Once those 28 days pass, I'm sure we'll announce it's been extended. By everyone on Argyle's account though, it's season long.

Have any actually changed from last season? Could be why there's not been any announcement...

Parrett, Obika, Mason etc. have changed. Plus there's Sandro's number to announce too.

Are we allowed numbers outside the 25? Ie. King is 26, BAE 32. Woul sthis still be allowed or do they have to be 1-25?

This link is for the Champions League squad and contains all officially announced squad numbers for 2010/11 season, some of which are different to those you have listed from the previous season/other sources (eg Jake Livermore is 39 not 29 as on your list, the 39 on your list is Jonathan Woodgate). In the pre seasonn friendlies some other players also appeared with other (additional) numbers on but I am not sure if these are valid for 2010/11. Additionally when the Premiership squad is announced (1/9/2010) there may be additional information on other squad numbers, if not before.

FYI Dorian Derivitte is now listed on the Villareal site as a B squad player, ie no longer a Spurs player - see link http://www.villarrealcf.es/principa...Portada&idplantilla=2&idmenu=92&idsubmenu=137

Probably no announcement was required on the Spurs site as I understand that Dervitte's contract may have expired on 30/6/2010 and the date of joining Villareal was early July, but that is just my guess.

Players, I think, will be able to have any number - because even though you have to name 25, the squad will contain under 21 players, who will have squad numbers too. So there'll be more squad numbers needed than just the 25 that have to be named.

Good find. No idea why he's still on our squad page. We've changed Gio's number back to 17 on the OS, so presumably they could have got rid of him then. Hmm.
