didn't walker say that he would always stick with the 28 shirt as that is something with his birthday?
It's about time shirt numbers were provided for this season anyway

i guess that means Capoue + Others who join can't take the no 6 or 29 shirt :p

Not in the Europa League, he could still have either for the league. Last season Holtby wore 23 in domestic games but 14 in the Europa League because as we'd previously registered Cudicini as 23, even though he'd left we couldn't have two players registered as the same number in the same competition.

Surely he would be cup tied for any European game? Or do qualifiers not count?

There used to be a rule which allowed players to move from a EL team to a CL and not be cup-tied but a player who moved from a CL to a EL team would be cup-tied. Now I think it's just that a player can't play for two teams in the same European competition.

But seeing as neither Livermore or Huddelstone will be playing, plus the fact that it is only a qualifier, can those two numbers be used in the knock out stages?

Bentaleb has not been with us long enough to qualify for the B list.

Though by my reckoning we only have 24 players on the A list, so there should have been room for falque or Bentaleb, unless the extra player would have had to be club-trained, which I think is probably the case - Rose, Townsend and Lennon are the only club-trained players I can see listed.
