Grealish - We desperately need a player who likes the ball and is always looking take something happen.
Diallo - I would have said Daka or Vinicius but use the money to afford a better midfielder and bring in a cheaper but still effective at the "big and powerful" role.
Reguilon - I believed we needed a defensive LB and was worried that Reguilon isn't solid defensively. However focusing so much on the RB side for creativity is too predictable for the opposition. We need a more attack minded LB to give us more dynamic.
Out
Lamela - at that age now where if he's not going to be a consistent player in availability or performance it's better to sell before we lose all value.
Foyth - sacrifice to help fund Grealish buy. I'd add a couple more to help this too.
Alli - It's just not happening for him anymore. Did he benefit from our all action high press? Did the movement of others allow him to get into the spaces he's most effective? Can he be a player who looks to get on the ball and be more of a dictator? No doubt in my mind he is wonderfully talented however his best trait his ability to do something brilliant in flashes.
If we are up against a packed defence and plating poorly, he offers nothing, if we need a player to get inbetween the lines and dictate in midfield he's not great at it. His best ever season was the one he was up alongside Kane and had Eriksen dictating behind. He didn't need to chip in, in midfield he could just float and take advantage.
However, that isn't how we are set up and we have zero creativity in midfield which shows His game up massively.
I'd trade that for a Grealish type who can dictate but also provide goals and assists.
Problem is, who would buy him at the price?
