I may get some stick for this, but I thought Saha and Nelsen were clever signings. The club clearly didn't want to spend any money (which sucked) but that isn't the fault of the players or Redknapp. They performed quite well, Nelsen added some experience and produced some solid displays, Saha scored some important goals and generally I thought exceeded all expectation.

Replace Postiga with Soldado and Dominguez with Lamela and there you have it..
Far too harsh on Lamela, you can't right him off just yet.

Soldado on the other hand still looks like he's trying his hardest not to score goals for us.

Harsh on Andy Reid imo, he was just what we needed at the time... a natural left footed wide player. Scored a few belters and his delivery was excellent. Shame he simply couldn't adjust to the pace of the top flight. But amongst worst ever? Not at all.

Indeed.

Andy Reid was certainly one of the widest players I've seen at the Lane.

For me the one & only no1 is Bongani Khumalo.

He should be the only Tottenham player not to play for Tottenham in 4 years at the club.

In his time he has seen us playing CL football, EL football, moved to new training center and 3 managers got sacked. Not once could he get into first team playing squad let alone starting XI

Remember John Bostock - another name comes to mind who had to be one of the worst signing. A very promising signing came to nothing and now he is playing for club Oud-Heverlee Leuven (had to Google it) - in Belgium second division.

At one level, it is rather a painful signing too - to see him not able to graduate a professional. Had all the talent in the world, but couldnt commit himself to do the hard work. Such a shame.

This article is from archives - not a good read in hindsight...

I was merely kidding, sire. He is incredibly talented - hope he makes it at Spurs!
