i guess that is as much to do with the context of the signing, we're in a position to really kick on and make a statement perhaps cementing ourselves as challengers....sign Saha and Nelsen. Because he actually wasn't a bad player when you look objectively.

Bentley fucked himself buy wearing those new fangled snub nosed puma kings at the time that were super curved at the toe.

You couldn't get under the ball properly with them like the original kings. They are awful, still got 'em only worn a few times. fucked his game/confidence.

Note you don't see many football boots like that now with such a high rounded toe end.

Said it at the time as I had a pair and you just cannot shape the ball at all with them, they are a total disaster. They make every cross a lottery.

Watched him time and again when he took corners and crosses how hit and miss they were.

Wasn't my favourite footballer at all but I felt a bit for him tbf. He did fuck about too much as well by his own admission.
