He scored 4 goals for us in 12 games, during a period in which we won only 5 of the 15 league games he was available for.

I don't think he was "shit" at all, but you seem to be insinuating it, so I was reminding you of the circumstances at the time.

Redknapp was the manager, so ultimately he was responsible for everything that went on on the field, so if you judge that Saha was "shit" then I'd invite you to connect the dots.

Comparing what we paid for Ferdinand, and his strike rate, I'd say that Saha (at 33 years old) was a bargain and I'm happy we got to include such a talented player in our lineup, even if you disagree.

Calling him shit was maybe a bit harsh but he was included in the worst spurs signing article for a reason.
Disagree with you regarding rednapp "being responsible for everything that went on the field".
What happens on the field is mainly down to the players quality and effort , the manager can only do so much

What is the point of not including Lamela , Soldado or Paulinho? Can't see them justifying their price. Still hopes for Erik, but I guess will be gone as they gone with Bobby.

Redknapp picked his teams and set the tactics out. The performance of a player is directly influenced by a team set up. I personally have no qualms with Saha, but was pointing out that the whole team performed poorly around the same time he wasn't scoring, so it's hardly like he was missing open goals.

The manager could have spent less time offering Brendan Rodgers jobs that didn't exist and more time thinking about each game, too.

Also, that Goal.com article is an opinion, not a fact. Judging by some of the players on it, I would hazard a guess that the author is probably not a fan as there's very little reason for some of them to even be on the list.

If they are sold, whatever amount is available for buying players may well be affected by the loss on those 3. I'd be surprised if they all go at once since that could be a heavy hit.

All I can think is...why are we, as spurs fans, so obsessed about how bad we are? If you look on other forums, say, :Liverpool, they are delusional about how great they are. We, on the other hand, even if things are not going so badly, love to stab ourselves in the heart at the horrors of yesterday and the potential horrors of today.

What. the. fuck? I didn't knew Fryers wasn't part of our club anymore. In fact, I have recollections of watching him playing under Poch this season.

Sold him at the arse end of last season.

Played well, IMO. He's only had 1 and a bit apps for Palace this season, and AFAIK it's not down to injuries.

I'd say 90% of forums have a multitude of negative posters. Bayern and Madrid forums are mostly positive, but many others ... not so much.

Prince Boateng should not be on that list. He was missmanaged by us imo

I think alot of folks right off and or hate some of our signings only because they signed in place of someone they preferred. To this end they would never give them credit when warranted. Saha a prime example.
