Bit of a disappointing lineup for me, would have liked to have seen something adventurous or more creative. That being said if we get an early goal there's of course enough in that team to go on and flourish. Just wish we'd see Lo Celso partnering Dier in the middle or something, just tell him to go out there and try and orchestrate things.

Im always of the mantra its how we play in terms of tactics than personnel although obviously the two are linked... i just find two 'defensive' midfielders to be a bit of an overkill particularly if Burnley play ultra defensive

Had a feeling we wouldn't see Celso start until the Munich match. Personally I think this is a real miss step from Jose. We need to start playing him now.

Fuck me that’s an awful looking team. Let’s hope they can get the job done regardless. COYS

That's freaky as hell. The second the team was announced, Ndombele got injured in my FM save.

Was not expecting Dier and Sissoko but after Jose comments yesterday about playing Moussa up and down the pitch rathern than DCM maybe I shouldn’t be surprised

Ah finally the Sissoko Dier midfield combination I was desperate to see.

Hating Sissoko again starting against a park the bus team. And Dier hasn’t been great at all since Jose began this experiment. You know Eriksen will come on ahead of GLC again. Hmmm

My enthusiasm has just nose dived. Lucas needs to pull his head out of his ass or this is going to be a struggle.

Diet and Sissoko in the middle whilst GLC sits on the bench. Awful

Why the hell we go with Dier/Sissoko is beyond me but at least Mourinho has shown he’d change things when theay arent working(although he failed to do that midweek). Just hope he doesnt bring in Eriksen and leaves him firmly rooted on the bench.
Eriksen will ? be the first sub. And Celso will max get 10 mins.

Ugh. What an underwhelming eleven. Lucas doesn't deserve to start after Man Utd - he's an impact sub and has been for his whole career. Sissoko in the middle again. I'd rather see Skipp in there. And how could Lo Celso not get the start against a low block defensive Burnley?

Why cant we play a more creative player in there. This system hasnt worked for best part of a year. Another disjointed game coming up. Really hope I'm wrong but why do 2 of the best managers around persist with something that doesn't work.
We seem to be completely adverse to any creativity in midfield. It's baffling.

At home to a team like Burnley too. We will start with no tempo. Dier and sissoko will be happy to complete square passes and will invite Burnley into the game. Also what's happened to foyth?
