I'm definitely taking that as JJ not wanting to say anything. The money should be there for GLC and Sessegnon regardless of outgoings.

Our neighbours are splashing the cash despite having absolute burdens such as Ozil and Mkhitaryan still on the wage bill, no CL income and having lost Ramsey on a free (with Koscielny to follow). Not to mention the likes of Everton and West Ham chucking around £40-50m bids like they are nothing.

That said the Eriksen situation is probably putting everything in flux.

It's gone very quiet, on all fronts.

Whilst we can only speculate as to the reasons and whether it's good or bad news, I think it is simply to do with the fact that we are now hitting crunch time. The market has been too quiet, but with China reaching the end of their window and then England to follow suit, things HAVE to start hotting up.

Clubs are in full throttle mode now, hashing out deals, playing last minute silly buggers etc... I believe JJ cannot/does not want to say anything right now because it is all so sensitive. A deal that was 99% done could be blown wide open at the very last second just to eek those few extra $$$.

It's a giant game of poker right now and whilst Herc was brave with his nads, I think JJ is playing all cards very close to his chest right now as it's entirely possible that from amazeballs TW, we get a lot lot less.

There is a reason we have been here before... Something is definitely up, whether it's specifically about Dybala, Bale, GLC or someone else entirely remains to be seen, but something is definitely hitting critical mass.

I’m sure JJ knows, but as ever, with the amount of interest in Dybala it’s probably highly sensitive and not for the public domain just yet. I’m sure if / when he’s ready to give us a snippet (or tell us it’s not happening) then he will.

Out of interest, do we know know if the comment he was replying to was about selling to afford Dybala or selling to afford any target (ie GLC)?

JJ has obviously been told to keep quiet as there is a lot going on at the moment.

No one wants anything jeopardised.

Just need a bit of patience, only less than 2 weeks to go.

I really hope to god this is this correct outlook as it's way I have perceived the full window form all ITKs

The club deliberately leaked Dybala. Blew sensitivity out of the water with that one. But it’s a safe assumption that was done for specific reasons(ie getting Betis to back down on GLC) and Dybala isnt actually in the cards. IF we sign anyone else this window, it’ll be GLC and/or Sessegnon

Fair point, but I think the fact that JJ is being quiet is more to do with activity behind the scenes rather than shutting down the guys question !

Dybala Eriksen straight swap would be fine + GLC coming in. Decent window for us.

But how many times do you actually see swap-deals, it's only happening in Football Manager.. Italian clubs though, have them more occurring.
