Form table since the re-start:
Considering we've had to play Man.U and Arsenal its not a bad return, if we'd beaten Bournemouth which we really should be doing then we'd be 3rd and setting a very solid pace. Shoots of encouragement. Tonights game for me is a big test, a bigger test even than the NLD at home. Our away record is awful this season, last time out we didn't manage a shot vs Bournemouth and so far we are actually turning up in games against the bigger sides but against the lower teams like Bournemouth we can struggle. Jose also has never won a game at St James's Park, if we can get a win after the NLD win as well then that would be a huge momentum builder for end of this season and going into next.

Would love to see some stats and evidence to back this up. It will be a tough game and could end in a draw, but that sweeping statement about "these types of games" and "Jose struggle to have a functional attacking game plan" is based on what?

My eyes. Like Tony Montana said “The eyes, Chico. They never lie”.

Interesting, I thought for sure there'd be some rotation given how shattered the team looked in the second half on Sunday, but the performance probably did warrant keeping the same team.

Huge respect for Serge Aurier for playing. Would love to see him score

Don’t know how to feel about Winks, Sissoko and Lucas starting, maybe Jose playing a 4-4-2 again

I understand playing Aurier, if the guy wants to play because it will help him mentally after the week he has had. You have to play him. But I really wish something would have changed in the lineup. GLC needs a break, he looks exhausted at HT the last few matches.

I get what Jose is doing, playing a consistent squad to try getting players used to playing his style and playing together. But we are really risking injury/fatigue if changes do not come soon. Even HT subs would be a nice change.
