If we were to sign anyone today, I would give more chance of us signing Stones than Rudiger.

It seems, Barca are not going for Garcia from City this window. According to Spanish reports, they want to sign him on pre-contract in Jan for a free transfer. If thats true, then City would have Stones, Garcia, Laporte, Ake, Diaz on their books.

I can see Stones being let out, if Garcia were to stay. But whether , Mourinho wants to sign Stones is a whole new thing

I've never followed him too closely, other than a bit at Everton and with England; a lot of his England farts I've normally recalled them as farts caused between the entire backline rather than single him out minus a couple of occasions caught in possession bringing the ball out or under-hitting a back pass.

I've also always felt that he's either a DM or a Sweeper (if we still used them) and not a CB, I don't know if he ever played there and Pep's won more than I have so what do I know?
