His problems at Citeh have come about due to him overplaying at the back, something that won't be in issue with us.

I like this move.

I don't see the point of letting Foyth go to bring John Stones in, unless you need the HG spot to make a signing elsewhere which I can't see.

It's obviously because he's got that 'winning mentality' that only players who have won a league title have ... ?

If available for a reasonable price then he wouldn't be the worst HG purchase tbh. Better than people give him credit for.

Ali Gold Doherty Not count to be Associated Trained Quota in Europa same as Davies so at the moment 2 non CT/AT Quota shall be left out and could be Gedson & Gazzaniga and if we signed another non CT/AT CB, another 1 have to left out, so may be we looking for AT CB like Stones that make sense

People can’t watch us much if they think Stones wouldn’t be an upgrade! He makes errors but his baseline as PL CB is about 50x higher than Sanchez’ who is currently starting...

If Jose wants him in, presumably he thinks he can improve him?

But as the report states, unlikely to happen.

Yeah he's not as bad some of you portray him as. But he's also not as good as Skrinirar which makes it all a tad underwhelming.

I don't think we should do this in anyway. But from Stones point of view Mourinho would be good for him a manager who will tell him to stop trying to be a playmaker and concentrate on defending. Going to city was a bad move for him development wise he needed to go from being a flashy on the ball defender which we all know he has that ability and learn when to keep it simple but he went to team who's philosophy is to take risks in possession at the back. Mourinho could sort him out because he is a big talent but I don't think we are in a position now where we need to be taking our rivals cast offs we need to be going all out to be better than them.

No surprise Stones didn't look like world beater under Pep. He demands so much from his defenders, there's really only a few of them that really suit Pep's style.

Mourinho is much more straight forward in defence, so I think Stones would be a good fit. Also, no any CB in the league right now is not completely error-prone..
