I will have to take your word for it, im 21 so I can hardly compare them haha

hows the new team going?

yep we were all born in different generations, i was never lucky to see Greaves play, but was lucky to see Hoddle play youth-reserve and 1st team footy. he even kept a C/S in goal after having to go in goal for the whole 2nd half away to Leeds and he played there again away against Man U in the cup which we won, but can't remember the score, but he replaced the late Amelia Alexsic (sorry if spelt wrong)

By the same token, Hoddle never realized his full potential while at Spurs and was also curtailed by injuries after moving to Monaco.
Hoddle had a better shot and a much more passing range than Gazza, and anyone who has seen both of them would rate Hoddle higher.
Erm, not really. I've seen both and personally think Gazza had slightly more. His passing was great, maybe not Hoddle level but his dribbling was better. More unpredictable than Hoddle for me.
Don't get me wrong I love Hoddle too though. I think both of these players were quite a bit ahead of Bale as pure footballers (technique, skill, football brain, vision).
