I would expect Martin keown to be anti spurs the same as someone like Jenas is anti arsenal. I would expect that. Let's not confuse though his stupid for having an agenda.

I genuinely do think some are stupid and don't look at context. Keown was just that in this case.

There is one thing having an agenda and another thing saying a stupid comment 'Kane has wanted to leave for years now' which implies a very long time, when its most lieky of been from the end of the season where poch left midway and Jose took over. Also saying 125 million is more than enough for Kane is utter tosh. Yes he is going to push Kane leave Farse-nals most hated rival, a man that helped been one of the key catapults that has lifted Spurs above them regularly for the last 4/5 seasons, yes he going to be anti-spurs but those other comments are more than bias, its stupidity, and even if you watch the video he has dirty smirk when he says it also. Jenas is 100% spurs leaning but he is never like that with arsenal, arsenal have been poor and same issues for seasons now and he says calls it how it is like others do also, it may sound blunt but it hard truth.

Jenas is nowhere near Keown in the stupidity class, taking away his natural bias I think he is pretty balanced.

Martin Keown is one of the biggest arseholes in football. If you want to see his true character watch his reaction to that van nistelrooy missed penalty. He genuinely disgusts me as a human being.

Jordan as a pundit is 2nd to none, honest, insightful, knowledgeable and fearless in calling others out, Keown is in the other end of the spectrum.
Sooner this debacle of a transfer it over the better, but DL has to stuck to his guns and rinse these oil swilling gits for all they are worth.

Thank goodness Simon Jordan was there to counter some of the rubbish Martin Keown was spouting.

MK ‘Oh Pep’s probably said relax take some time off’.

SJ ‘He doesn’t work for Guardiola!’

??

I would love to have that conversation recorded - although as it is city, it wouldn't be considered trapping-up, just friendly advice from a fellow professional.

BBC sports gossip column says that Real Madrid are preparing a bid to PSG for Mbappe. The valuation of the bid is 120m euros (£102m). I find that incredibly low and not a big help for our discussions on Harry's worth with City. I've no doubt it will be rejected by PSG.

So sell Kane for £150m and buy Mbappe and have some change left over. Awesome!

Martin Keown is one of the biggest arseholes in football. He genuinely disgusts me as a human being. He tries to affect this dulcet soft spoken demeanour to project the idea of an intelligence belied by his Neanderthal appearance but all the time, poking through it are the harsh walls of his real character, which is that nauseating wild eyed hate we all saw let loose on van nistelrooy. Was like watching a clockwork orange + 2001. Absolute scumbag who always has that just beneath the surface of his every word. These people with very fixed absolute ideas of right and wrong are the scary ones because they’re scared of the areas in between which is the entirety of real life.

i find most supposed good guys and causes to follow this format post millennium. They’re so kind and lovely and palatable… until someone disagrees or raises an aspect of reality they don’t like. u_u

errr anyway Harry Kane…

Ok fine fine - he is a ****... :) I still think he is pretty stupid like a lot of the pundits nowadays particularly those on talksport ... Darren Ambrose is actually half decent...

and so is Kane

ah bugger. I just went back and edited my post because I’m trying to keep my input appropriate. And less in keeping with my avatar. Haha

‘Former’? I don’t know how to be a fan and then not be a fan of a team. I was born in NYC. Bronx Bomber all the way. Also loved the Dolphins since childhood. Moved to the Uk when I was 6, fell in love with Spurs. Also fell in love with cricket. Supported Middlesex nearly as long as Tottenham. I’d have no idea how to switch off those passions. Though there have been times I wish I could. Perhaps you can share your secret?

I don’t have the time for 162 games and it’s the game to reform the least. Baseball is frankly boring AF. Aaron Boones HR is one of the most important sports moments of my life but frankly I don’t got time for it.

Back on topic before I get the broom. Sell the fella. Let’s close this chapter.

The horrible thing about add ons is, if Kane or Man City struggle for any reason we suffer. That just doesn’t seem right to me in the circumstance.

They have fucked our season and now as a thank you we're giving them money off it all goes wrong for them. It’s all a bit too nice.

It really depends what the add ons are. If it's something like appearances or goals and he doesn't achieve them then he's Probably had a bad injury and we've dodged a bullet selling him. If it's payment for champions League qualification I can't see City missing out, but if it's winning the CL or Premier League it's a different story. I'd guess it's a mix of things, but I'm sure we wouldn't agree to them if we didn't think they were realistically achievable.

Another factor with add ons is I'd guess they have to be paid in a lump sum as soon as they're achieved ?

I'd love it if PSG sold M'bappe to Madrid and then came to us for Kane with the full amount paid without questions in full.

And then Kane says, “nah I want to be the all time top Prem scorer! Dan, I appreciate PSG have bid 200m but I would like you to accept the 120m bid from City please mate.”
