Trix said 140 plus add ons now but even if it was £130m let’s have some perspective.

It would be the 3rd highest fee ever, and about 25% more than has ever been paid for a 28 year old even before any add ons. This is for a man with a less favourable injury history than any of the other guys at the top of the list, during a pandemic.

If we get 140 plus add ons I think that’s a great deal - 200 was always posturing to set a standard for negotiation
Spot on mate, not sure why a lot are being stubborn - '200m or fuck off'. We NEED this transfer to rebuild successfully and push on. I believe its totally essential otherwise this season we will piled with constant drama and unwanted leaks which will just stir the pot, and we will have a shit season. Kane's heart isn't in it. Would very much rather have 140m to spend during a pandemic window than 100m next year when everyones revenues are increasing. Nuno and FP want him gone so... we should be doing everything possible to get him gone, theres nothing wrong with a comprimise. Too much ego around

I’ll have to say I’ll probably be a bit annoyed when I watch the inevitable “thank you to the fans” post when he goes (assuming he can even be bothered) especially as the radio silence from him about anything to do with us.

He and his team could have done this so much better especially when considering the length of time he was with us and the support he has had even when playing for England with people cussing him out and doubting him. Maybe he was really Arsenal lol
If he is smart, he'll turn comments off when his team releases the statement.

(And I doubt there is any chance he writes his own statement, it will be written for him, and passed off as his own,)

if the manager and the DOF want him gone, I definitely want him gone asap
The manager and DoF will want to do what’s right for the team. They will see a load of cash that they can use to strengthen the squad in other areas. He could we undermine a new manager trying to stamp him mark at the club. Let’s face it they are both new and neither have any emotional tie to Harry like the fans and others at the club. So I was them I’d want him gone as soon as to start rebuilding

In the early days of Jordan, I didn't necessarily like him. Thought he was a a bit of a spoilt brat. However, over the past few years I've come to tolerate him, then quite like him but particularly over the last two years on TalkSport, he is by far and away THE best pundit, giving levelled and insightful opinions and and knowledge of how things work behind the scenes at a football club.

I not sure he and Levy are best of buddies, but he has an absolute respect for MOST owners of clubs, including ours even when they've not always seen eye to eye.

I for one would like to see him on Sky to pass on his style of unbiased and insightful punditry.

But that wouldn't fit Sky's agenda now would it...

I would expect Martin keown to be anti spurs the same as someone like Jenas is anti arsenal. I would expect that. Let's not confuse though his stupid for having an agenda.

I genuinely do think some are stupid and don't look at context. Keown was just that in this case.

Sky don’t have an agenda besides providing the most basic analysis possible. They aren’t interested in providing in depth reasoned punditry. They just want familiar faces parroting the same old cliches. It’s just trying to appeal to as many viewers as possible. Invariably that means they show a bias towards the clubs with the most supporters.

he could send videos to justin rose but couldn't be arsed to explain himself to fans (or even talk to his manager) beyond a "pls don't be mean it hurts my feelings" post. he's such a bellend.

that said, why on earth are we letting this drag on? city aren't working to a budget. why on earth are we letting them negotiate?

I think what turned me off modern punditry was the reaction to the ESL. Total hypocrisy, for years dodgy money via Abramovich and Abu Dhabi came in and not a peep from Neville despite the massive distortion of transfers and competition. If anything Chelsea and City got treated like they earned it. Then to turn around and get all moral on the ESL. Nah mate total nonsense.

Don’t get me wrong I hate the ESL but also what came before it.

Spot on, plus he still hasn’t put in a transfer request.

If you think Keown is bad, you should hear Jamie O Hara. ?

How the hell some of these ex players get a cushy gig to talk nonsense and get paid quite handsomly is beyond me.

Ever heard Carlton fucking Cole? Cant string a sentence so he laughs mid sentence instead because he doesnt have a fucking clue.

I dont think O'Hara is that bad but he isnt the best

Don’t know what you mean by this. How are we letting it drag on if they won’t bid what we want? Unless you mean we should just slam the door shut this window (which to me is cutting off your nose to spite your face) city are the ones letting it drag on. If they are going to end up paying it anyway just get it done which is better for them and us
