If there's anything I've learnt in the last 24 months, it's that we need to get rid of specific players who are kryptonite to any tactics.

If anyone at the club was still clinging to the delusion that we have a great squad of players that doesn’t need major surgery then I hope that has finally been dispelled. Maybe that was part of the point, if we’re intentionally dragging our feet on signings perhaps this will light a fire under it.

I'm all for rotation but it's the bench that I had an issue with. Needed a Son, Lucas, Skipp or Dele etc. We had nothing to change it with.

We are only 1-0 down, in a weeks time if we have taken 3 points at Wolves and are in the Group stages it will have been the right decision

I get that. But those first teamers can surely manage an extra 30 minutes? Playing Wolves you're basically playing a Portuguese side anyway these days.

The only good thing to come out of the game is that hopefully Nuno will not be using Winks, Doherty or CCV ever again.

It seems he has already told Sissoko and Aurier they aren't going to be used much, possibly Ndombele too.

I think i was most disappointed by Lo Celso. Has so much talent but showed a very questionable attitude in the game.

The squad needs major surgery and it hasn't even gone under anaesthetic yet. WIll be at least 2 seasons before we can start pushing for top 4 again and that will be dependent on good transfer business.

People seem to think it’s ok that Kane, N’Dombele, Aurier and Sissoko have unprofessionally made themselves unselectable while following their own agendas. They’re not even in the equation in most people’s discussion around last nights game. They’re still Spurs players taking hundreds of thousands of pounds off the club.

I would imagine it was more to do with travelling than anything.
Nuno would probably prefer the whole starting eleven for Wolves were training full time at home preparing for the weekend rather than losing several days to the distraction of the Europa Conference.

Next week at home he can put a couple on the bench with little effect on the weeks preparation for the Prem.

I don’t think anyone was clinging to that delusion haha.

Did the burn out of the likes of Son and Hojbjerg last season not tell our fans anything?!?! That squad were capable of a result and we have the 2nd leg to fall back on.

I get that there's some on here who don't rate the lad (though I don't agree with them) but what the hell has Rodon done to make him behind these players when it comes to squad selection?

Nuno managed Doherty for many years at Wolves and they share the same agent. I am not sure that he will give up on Doherty just yet.

It's not about the 30 minutes, it's about the flight to portugal and back, the disruption to tactical preparation for Wolves. We left our assistant back with the players in England, they've had a clear week to recover from the city game and prepare tactically for the game. How often did we get that with Jose? I'd say it was extremely rare.

Had to do a funny rating for that phrase (kryptonite to any tactics). Genius.

Agree with this. Just keeping it to Nuno, he’s got an absolute shitload on his plate as an incoming coach; especially at Spurs and especially this season! We’re two games in…

Encouraging start re result and approach in the most important game/competition; real evidence of team cohesion and actual coaching going on.

First XI rested for the weekend’s game and we should have more than enough to win the Euro Conference tie next Thursday.
