I’m far too intelligent to be suspected of being a footballer. But I’ve seen the grammar some of you use and frankly you could all be Joe Cole!

Nah, he could have saved himself so much grief if he showed some humility and admitted he was wrong.

We all get things wrong, and I respect the posters who can admit as much.

I get what you're saying, but sport is subjective so we're mostly dealing with opinions not facts, so there is no right or wrong really. At the time there were loads of people saying that Trippier was a useless defender and not good enough for a top four side, but now he's playing for the team that are top of La Liga who have conceded two goals in ten games. Were all those people who said he wasn't good enough wrong? Or did the people of both sides of the argument maybe have a point?

Back on topic, I can't remember who but one of the ITKs confirmed that some of the young players use this site. That was a long time ago though.

I hope players don't come in here. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of players, fine, but the disrespect shown to lads who play for our club by some on here is disgraceful.
