Lamela always gets bloody inured from nowhere, he played the full 90 vs Red Star too before this injury, thought this injury would just be a precaution but now it sounds more serious

it’s been said so many times over the years, you just can’t rely on him to be fit. Another one who should have been moved on years ago.

I'm actually less than concerned about the actual result. It is all about the selection and performance.

We could play the same team as we did at Anfield and scrape a 2-0 win with some VAR assistance. It wouldn't allay anything. However if we play a progressive team, who plays with freedom and pride, I'd take a draw or even a defeat if that mean't you could visibly see the changes.

When was this years ago ? We have always carried passengers like Lamela, Anderton, etc.etc.

I want Poch sacked but hoping we lose????? You don't support the team/club if you want us to lose.

I think we're at the point where it has to be both I'm afraid. We need momentum in the next 3 games.

The problem is that we saw those kind of performances in the Palace & Red Star games and then immediately returned to type. I think we need a few consecutive performances (along with results + team selections) like that before we can take anything even vaguely meaningful from it.

Even those who continue to support Poch (and I admire and understand their stance BTW) will have a near impossible task of continuing that if we were to lose/even draw and play poorly this weekend.

A good performance and a win and nothing less is needed here. If not he just HAS to go surely?

I honestly think he could lose the next 3 or 4 and still be in charge. Very little news filtering out that he is on borrowed time.

I was hopeful because I thought I saw him playing two touch.

That's a good point, although I did agree with Gassin's.
I'm pretty much a "Poch outer" but I still desperately want him to turns things round and want to see the team responding to him. But also in that sense, he needs to respond to the team and pick the players that deserve it, with the tactics to suit them.

Yeah im Poch in as you know but if he doesnt do the things you mentioned and get some results then I only see one outcome and I dont think there will be much of an argument to say it was the wrong decision. Im desperate for him to make a series of good choices.

Well he isn't going to get sacked if we win...

Even if we do win, I would hope Levy feels like big changes need to be made and it's time for a fresh start. Surely he can't thinking winning an odd game here and there is a good enough reason to keep him.

What's the line up gonna be? Would love to see another option at RB and Lucas given a start

Not sure which Spurs will turn up, the one that takes the lead but loses it or the one that’s goes behind and stays behind...

First fixture of abit of a make or break week for us.

Come the final whistle against Sheff U next week I'd expect us to either have finally turned the tide or be going into the international break leaving Levy with no choice but to act.

With champions League sandwiched in the middle, somethings gotta give. ...
