Offered without comment:

I want Victor Wanyama to start playing like Ngolo Kante. I don't think Wanyama has it in him to start playing like Ngolo Kante. I would like Victor Wanyama to be replaced in the squad by someone who I think could play like Ngolo Kante.

Cool.

Why would you have one of our most in form players on the bench (Lamela), and pick a relatively untested player (Lo Celso) in this critical of times?

Basically we have two ball winners in the CM2 to add a more defensive layer in front of the back 4. Free up the playmakers like Tanguy and Lo Celso to focus on the attacking side of the game. Don’t put too much responsibility on their shoulders defensively. It may not be the most explosive team, but it might help us take more control of games, and be less brittle defensively.

Tomorrow is a good chance for us to be near the scums if we win after they drew today.

But is real depressing by the look of the table when we are even behind crystal palace who we thrashed 4-0.

No idea how some doesn't think we are gonna be in a crisis real soon if we are not winning tomorrow.

Doesn't anyone read team news? Lamela is definitely out with a hamstring & Verts is doubtful with similar.

Well I had Lamela on the bench when he’d just missed a match injured with his hamstring, and as it happens he’s not even fit enough for the bench so my concern was valid. That said, people asking other people to justify their selections on this thread is a bit silly, why does anyone care who anyone else picks, just pick your own. As for Lo Celso, barely tested he might be, but the team has been shit lately, he has to start playing at some point, no time like the present where he might give us a little of what we’ve missed.

Fuck a duck every poxy feckin thread on this site is now a poch out thread.

Same people in every thread.
Brexit thread = poch out
Poch thread = poch out
Lo celso thread = poch out.

Match thread =poch out
Its literally everywhere

Get a fucking grip some of you you are starting to make the site unbearable ,we get it you want a new manager.
Shouting it louder or with greater frequency is not going to make everyone else join you on this poxy crusade you are on.
I hardly post at all any more and it's mainly down to you lot telling folk who dont agree with you and voice that to fuck off or dont read a thread if you dont like it it's becoming beyond tedious.

Anyway I'll support my club spurs to win
Poch will still be manager
Gtf over it.

COYS !!

I think sticking a recognised dm in front of that back 4 is one of the reasons (one of many) the wheels have fallen off. Its all gone to shit since Wanyama and Dier fell from grace imo.
We've an absolutely amazing array of talent in attack. Kane, Alli, Son, Lamela, Moura, Lo Celso, Ndombele.
How the fuck can you not get a tune out of that???
Sort the defence out and the rest does itself.

Is there anybody who's heart (obviously) always wants spurs to win but their head has contemplated losing in the hope that it brings about a change in management?

Is anybody that far gone yet?

It's been mentioned. To be honest I don't think Levy will sack on us losing a game anyway. He will weigh up the entire situation before firing.

My thoughts exactly. To be honest I really don't think there's a quick fix. Trouble is, as with the modern world, trying to be patient as fans is hard.

I'm actually less than concerned about the actual result. It is all about the selection and performance.

We could play the same team as we did at Anfield and scrape a 2-0 win with some VAR assistance. It wouldn't allay anything. However if we play a progressive team, who plays with freedom and pride, I'd take a draw or even a defeat if that mean't you could visibly see the changes.
This is what I'm hoping for - a good side picked, plenty of energy, movement and signs of improvements. I think we will see so I've gone for a Spurs win.

It sounds like Sessegnon might be involved tomorrow. It would be nice to see all of the new boys get some game time.

Some funny anti-Poch takes, suggesting this is a win or 'die' game. It's nothing of the sort, though it would be nice if Poch stopped picking hopelessly out-of-form and uncommitted players.

Of course, if Aurier starts Poch should be sacked 5 mins before kick off :cautious:
It won't be announced until after full time but the rumour will get out at half time and we'll all start singing his name. Taking your user name into account adds little piquancy.
