Me if/when we finish the transfer window with a flourish of Vinicius and Skriniar:

If we can add vinicius and skriniar then they would have done an excellent job this window and given jose a squad who can challenge on all fronts. Im genuinely excited for this season as I think this will be the one that ends in silverware.

Can we please stop the " Mourhino is a defensive coach who only likes to park the bus " narrative and for myself I have been entertained and impressed by our football and if in some games we have to play defensively " park the bus " so be it because being pragmatic and playing defensively against some teams is the best way to win .
One thing I would like to say and that it is enjoyable having a coach who is not afraid to speak up when the club is being badly treated.

Wasn't a big fan of Levy during the Poch era, it always seemed like he was trying to penny pinch. However if the reports that Poch was asking for mega signings were true then I can understand why Mourinho has been backed and Poch was "left out to dry" so to speak. Mourinho's signings have all been cost effective and have added a new dimesion to our game. here's hoping Jose doesn't get toxic and we go on a 5 year winning spree!

Just heard on Sky Sports that we have concluded our buying for this window and Skriniar is off the table now and now we are only looking to sell. Is that true?

All along ENIC were just waiting for a worldwide pandemic so they could get some quality players on the cheap. Nice way to play the long game. In all seriousness they finally deserve a little credit for this window.

Fair play to Levy/ENIC they've stepped up this window like we've hoped they would for the last 20 years, this transfer window has gone a long way to redeeming their many previous frustrating and disappointing ones, we now have a world class stadium, training ground, manager and squad, no complaints from me.

......just the final push needed for another solid, experienced central defender

Agree mate but won't be complaining if we don't get it, but agree this is probably the final piece of the jigsaw, then possible more/better DM cover but overall with the addition of a top class CB we will have pretty much as strong squad as anyone in the PL in my opinion, I really do think that, the depth we would have when all are fit is pretty phenomenal, frightening prospect to for example start a match with top top class players like: Lloris, Regullion, Doherty, Toby, Sanchez, PEH, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Bale, Kane, Son and then still have the following options on the bench or not even in the squad is unheard of for us:
Hart
Aurier
Davies
Dier
Tanganga
Sissoko
Winks
G. Fernandes
Dele
Bergweign
Lamela
Lucas
Vinicius

Honestly is there another team with this much quality and depth in the PL now? City and Liverpool only ones who mabye slightly better due to more world class players in their best XI's but the above is pretty damn impressive.

When all are fit we could have about 5 world class or top top class players on the pitch Lloris, Regullion, Lo Celso, Bale, Kane, Son and a bench with options like: Dele, Bergweign, Lucas, Lamela, Vinicus! Imagine facing our best line-up for 60 mins at full pelt and then we bring on 3 of those guys, so buzzing.

9/10 window so far, ENIC have absolutely smashed it out the park ;)

Get a Centreback then I get Levy and Lewis' faces tattooed on my bum cheeks.

I don't know what there is to be smug about though, what ENIC have done this window is do exactly what the detractors have been complaining they do not do. Infact a lot of people who have staunchly defended ENIC to the hilt have over and over again justified why they couldn't and shouldn't do it and now are claiming moral victory despite their argument being undermined?

I'm not anti-enic by any stretch of the imagination but I'm also not a BSODL but I can clearly see the reason ENIC are being rightly praised this summer is because they've gone against their previous MO as opposed to vindicating their previous approach.

I was on the verge of turning to the dark side.
