Pulis has been marvellous for Palace.

Yep. Palace board have to take credit for an outstanding decision in appointing him.

I can't stand what Pulis created at Stoke but he was exactly what Palace needed and has done an amazing job.

Fuck him he is a tosser ....all he cares about right now is getting his win percentage up so he can gloat, he does all his dirty washing in public, plays shite football and i can't wait for him to go more than any other Spurs manager in our history...and i have seen plenty since the late 70's.

So sorry i wont join you in wishing him good luck.....hes an absolute cock.

I don't want him to stay either, just think there isn;t much need for the constant bashing anymore when we all know he's off.

Rise above it sort of thing, he'll be gone soon enough.

Sherwood deserves credit where it's due

He's not done a bad job - certainly done a better job than I expected him to (and I imagine pretty much everyone was fearing worse when he took over)

I don't think he's the man to be our manager right now, I think he needs to learn his trade at a lower level and work his way up.

I like him though and I wish him well - I don't have a problem with his actions and comments either, I like his passion for the club

Ideally I would have liked him to return behind the scenes and finish his badges while learning with the youth and under the wing of a man like LVG but I think that we'll end up getting a younger manager in and that will be impossible - I also think Tim will not want to take a backwards step now (in terms of being the no1 rather than the level at which he is employed) and probably end up taking a vacant position at a recently relegated PL team like Norwich)

I don't get all the negativity and hate towards him - since he took over there's been so many people who seem to cut their nose off to spite their face and want him to fail just so they can snipe at him like they have a personal vendetta against a man they've never met (its pathetic)

I hope he wins the last two games with us and leaves on a high and goes on to do good things in the game if he is not prepared to take a backwards step with us and continue learning with a view to taking over in the future. I don't think he's the man to manage us right now though

Well just said how about a few well done's for being nominated...but what I was really getting at was... not to see another thread filled with a hole lot of abuse directed at him. The forum is overloaded with it everywhere....comparisons to AVB in every thread, ppg lol....I'm guilty of this myself.

Don't blame those for not saying anything congratulatory of course :)

I guess the ridicule will start again in here.

I'm wishing him genuine luck without a snidy remark.

To be honest, and I know he has said some stupid things, the bashing he's taking is starting to feel really old - given everybody knows he won't be in charge next season.

How about a few well done Tim's and just leaving it at that.

I would find it a lot easier to do this if he had some sort of humility and could control himself in press conferences.

So much of what he says is a (poorly) disguised boast or a dig at players or the previous manager. He's just an eminently unlike-able guy and not a good face for the club and that makes it difficult for me to rise above it really and wish him well.

I'm avoiding bashing him too much or getting personal but being positive to him is just a step to far for me, unfortunately.

:D...You do realise the best way to ignite Dim bashing is to do what you did and suggest we give him a pat on the back..;)..

But i do get what your saying....but fuck him still.

Yeah as I just explained in my post above to ELY, it was more about not seeing another thread filled up with more bashing.

Don't blame anyone for not being positive towards him :)

Did feel a bit sorry for him listening to him last night, but I guess a lot of his fan group will say that was his manipulative streak coming out lol

I still think we've largely got our results in the last few games in spite of, not because of, Tim's efforts.

But, whatever...well done Tim!

If Tim wins it he will have deserved it, end of... I wish him the best. He is still part of our club and whilst I want a "better" manager and firmly believe he was only ever scheduled to last until this summer (and knowingly) anyway, I certainly wish him no ill will.

That he has even been nominated shows that he has improved and the team's performance has improved. I think we all agree it needs to improve even more, but nevertheless well done TS.
