He has had a huge amount of support to get over his off -field problems by all the backroom staff at Inter....Even the owner Massimo Moratti has bent over backwards to help him........Some people can party really hard and still give 1000% the next day at work....unfortunately he comes from the same mould as your Paul Gascoines.....Fecking heaps of talent could be /should be best in the world .....but I cannot see it happening:bang:

we've said that with almost half of our squad with regards to having heaps of talent etc etc, but ramos is the man who has kicked them all into shape and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Ramos can get Adriano back where he belongs as well.

If we can get him for a bargain price, well worth a punt as he's only 26, in a couple of weeks time.

What was the price quoted?

I'm wondering about Ramos and his man management skills and what he can get out of players and the focus that he can bring them.

Kanoute is interesting for me, i always thought that Kanoute was a really talented player but that nobody had ever been able to get hold of him and channel him in the right direction. He was just meandering through an almost apologetic career considering his quality and then Ramos got hold of him and it all come together. For some reason I also think that Alves is a very difficult personality and Ramos brought the best out of him as well.

Since Ramos has come to Spurs I look at 2 players in particular, Hudd & Lennon. In my opinion these 2 are immenesely talented players but they are coasters, they almost take their talents and abilities for granted and they wern't pushing themselves forward. I use to sit in my seat thinking come on Aaron get yourself involved son, but he almost looked disinterested at times. These 2 players are now unrecognisable from before, they have a focus, an agenda and a genuine desire. Lennon is now everywhere, he never has his head down, he is perpetual motion and isn't hungry for the game, he is ravenous. The Hudd's improvement under Ramos is off of the scale, he also coasted through games relying on his ability, looking at him now the job Ramos has done on him is extrodinary.

And finally Berbs, when Ramos arrived Berbs had pretty much lost interest. Since he has been revitalised and to me he has been magnificent and is working his nuts off.

Could Ramos get the best out of Adriano?

All I can think is that he has as much chance as anybody, and if he could then at his best Adriano is a magnificent player!

Oh, did we make a bid for Adebayour (sic)? That passed us all by, then.

In the summer of 2005 Wham had a bid of £7m accepted by Monaco but then backed out in the last minute of some "things" in the contract. That summer Spurs were also considering him - but either Jol or Arnesen didn't see him fit the bill of what Spurs needed

I thought he went to Arse for about £2 mill:shrug:

What is it with finding a new striker, we have Bent! Is that not enough?
Bent's the real deal, just wait and see

I feel Bent would be more than up for it if Berb do leaves.

Ramos will make him a fearsome striker, like he did with kanoute

But yes, he did say he turned us down, and the club did say it was total bullshit, which was pretty unusual. We were never linked to him, for sure, which leads me to suspect he was prompted to say that as a wind-up.

We were linked to him. I think that young kid called Charlie (Spurs_24?) kept on calling him shit. Me and Spursking said otherwise.

Although to be fair he was pretty mediocre at the time.

He won't fit in. Doubt if he can really recapture his old form since there's too much side attractions in London for him to concentrate on football.

London has no bearing on it.

When you are as rich as these guys just about any city in the world can provide so called side attractions.
