Simple question. Even the most cynical bastards among us like myself must be looking forward to at least one thing next season.

So which is it?

Maybe you're just looking forward to not having to see Sherwood's mug anymore. Or not having to witness Danny Rose masquerading as a PL defender.

You can only choose one thing though. I'll start by saying the thing I'm most looking forward to seeing is what a settled, fully fit and fired up Lamela can do next season.

I'm looking forward to seeing Lamela in a Spurs shirt marauding down our right wing and having a massive impact in the prem much like Bale in the latter part of the 2009-2010 season (hopefully)

After England have won the world cup I am looking forward to us winning the Premiership title, F.A. Cup, League Cup, Europa League, Fair Play Award, Most goals scored, least conceded (therefore best GD ratio), Player of the season, Manager of the season, Young player of the season, Top goal scorer, best fans, no yellow cards, no red cards, best pitch, best stadium.

To be honest, anything else would be a failure in my eyes.

Just looking forward to the next chapter in the story of my team.

The summer is one of the most enjoyable periods in football with all the comings and goings throughout Europe. So I will enjoy that, watch some cricket and the World Cup.

Scoring in the first 15 minutes would make a nice change. Playing for the full 90 minutes gives us a better chance than what we saw last season. I am optimistic about the future and think it will be a great next season

Hoping to see lamela prove the media and pundits wrong, can't stand the way he is labelled a flop when he has hardly kicked a ball all season. Also hoping soldado will come good but won't be holding my breath.

A nice sunny first day of the season, having walked past the first signs of the new stadium under construction.
There will be hope and expectancy high in the air.
Supporters will be backing the team, lots of new kits worn and a new manager at the helm promising that he will lead us to the promised land.

and then wait for normal service to be resumed ............ with moans for a slightly misplaced pass, the missed chance, the conjecture that the wrong man got the job, that we will never get anywhere whilst DL is in charge etc etc

It's great being a Spurs fan
- wouldn't change it for the world :)

We qualified for top 4 18months after being in a relegation place, a truly horrific season, Liverpool came from 7th(?) last season to being pipped to the post this. Look at Southampton this season. Championship fodder not so long ago.

As far as I am concerned the slowly slowly approach to success is bullshit. It will come out of nowhere when everything clicks. At least for clubs who cant realistically sustain massive spending.

For that reason Im well up for next season. I reckon we got everything in place for a big fuckoff click.
