Pav is our best striker :-(

I'd be gutted if we lose him, especially without a top replacement.

Chances are good that striker Roman Pavlyuchenko will move in the next few days in the «Spartak», says the correspondent «Soviet Sport» Andrei Bodrov.

As we have previously «Tottenham» rejected «Spartacus» Pavlyuchenko to pay rent and offered to negotiate on the subject of transfer. According to «Soviet Sport» on on Sunday night, the talks were difficult. «Tottenham» has requested the equivalent of 12 million euros, «Spartak» is not yet attending to these conditions.

On Saturday, Roman Pavlyuchenko and his agent are in Moscow. 1 September Pavlyuchenko will come to collect the national team of Russia.

The only conclusion I came too after reading that is Pav is off because Tottenham rejected to pay his rent!!

if it's for anything above 12m, i'd take it - we need the money for CM more, and gio can play as fourth striker
