We all know how this story turns out. We'll play our best game of the season to beat City, Arsenal will win the league and we'll still finish 5th after losing to Sheffield.

on goal difference after an og in the 97th minute

He's looking for it but there is contact. Surely they must be reviewing it in the background
It’s a contact sport. There was a hell of a lot of contact when Paqueta smashed into Maddison at West Ham , nothing given. The Brighton player let his knees bend and fell over. Never a pen. The only person whose view matters is the ref. End of story.
Time we had a pen, only had one all season.

I mean tbh it doesn’t really matter what us fans think because Ange and the players will be 💯 going out to win every match so I think it’s fine for that one of match if some fans aren’t too fussed about the result, at the end of the day what matters is the players and the managers.

But results right at the end of the season when/if nothing is on the line at that point are the only ones which can be excused a bit imo, although totally get your point that we as a club should be cultivating a culture to try to win every match but I have a heck of a lot of Arsenal supporting mates so frankly if we can’t change our final position by then, I wouldn’t be upset if city beat us if it stopped Arsenal winning.
This is an eminently sensible post. Contrast this to the awful "performance" we put in after drawing to Chelsea in the Leicester season where the players basically gave up - we got pumped - and the players didnt look bothered that Arsenal finished above us. I was more angry about that than most defeats I have ever seen and it showed that certain players we had had the wrong mentality. And really soured the end of that season.
