It would make sense to get M'Villa in now. Especially as Scotty Parker is 32 and likely to pick up niggling injuries. When The Beast returns we can move Parker on.

Apparently we are interested in Mvila according to my boss. QPR has offered him 80k a week though

That is absolutely insane. I'm not a big fan of M'vila, but that is just begging to be putting yourself in a bad position.

@garyjacob: QPR Redknapp on M'Vila: "Tried to sign him [before], play I like. Livermore not sure that will happen. "

S looks like Livermore isn't going to QPR..please don't make him Sandro's replacement ....

If Holtby was to come in before the noon deadline today, I'd imagine more rumblings would have occurred by now?

However, Fryers did sort of just come out of the blue.

People need to remember as well that Sandro could be out for a very long time. Set backs happen, rehabilitation complications etc Look how long it took that little fuck Wilshere to come back. Vidic has been in and out of the side from a long lay off as well. Not to mention how long it can take to get back to previous form after a bad injury. There are a multitude of variables to consider.

Its not necessarily the case of buying someone as a stop gap for a few months.

Also, I in no way want to see him put back on the pitch until there is absolutely no doubt about it that he is right as rain. If he were to come back too soon, rupture the ligament again, then his career can legitimately be in jeopardy.

Moussa Sissoko, Mohammed Diame and Pedro Obiang. Those are my three choices to come in as they are strong enough in defense to put together shifts at DM, but also have the attacking ability to cover Dembele should he go down with injury. Obiang's my preferred choice, but I see the more "financial logic" behind the other two.

Totally agree with all this. Although Diame would be my first choice.

Well, we won't match that. But I guess it depends if he wants a relegation battle or the chance to be fighting at the top of the league.

I'm sure I read something earlier that Rubin Kazan are in for him. I guess they'd offer him the highest wages.
