Nusa
Club have pulled away now and don’t want to entertain the circus Brugge have created after positive convos with both club and camp for some time. Everything was set with him and his project to come here in the summer . Our idea changed on this with ange seeing a need to get him now price went up and we thought we could sit on it so Brugge would come back down . They invited clubs to the table last week as I stated to push their price up and bring us higher we didn’t budge but still felt like we had the cards so seemed confident. Lo and behold Brentford Newcastle Brighton started circling and went for it with Bruges conditions. The player I believe has preferences Brentford due to certain verbal agreements and Scandinavian ties which could help him settle and grow quicker then coming to spurs which he had agreed to if the clubs could settle the price. I just hope this won’t be a player in 2/3 years goes for stupid money and we look back and think wtf but he might not be . It’s the nature of deals I’m afraid you win some you lose some.

sorry guys x

And more about WF in general
the ones we would want will be out of reach not just on price but competition. That’s why this strategy is key with our current standing . Ideally a Williams or Neto would be lovely but unless we get a clear run they will have better suitors right now it’s just the nature of the beast . We do like the look of ibrahim osman but nothing concrete on that yet.

I assume then that if Ange felt the need to get Nusa now, we may not have finished this window.
Maybe it's too late now though.

Yeah interesting that Ange thought it was better to get now. Could just be that he wanted to develop him ready for next year.

Hopefully Son and Solamon coming back make an impact.

This has classic Spurs deadline day nonsense vibes, thought we'd moved beyond that
With the early signings of Rudu, Timmy and multiple loans out we clearly have move on. But if ever there appeared to be opportunities to sneak a signing on the relative cheap due to ffp, it's this window!!

Gallagher
nothings changed on this FWIW . Skipp or hoijberg would ideally need to vacate . Pierre is fussy and the clubs he wants won’t pay the money we want and palace might give us the money for skipp to Facilitate Gallagher but a lot would have to happen right now it’s unlikely .

1 . Chelsea have to stop flirting with the idea and sell him or not
2. They would have to sell to spurs
3. We would need to make room meaning finding a club for someone to go
4. The departing player has to be satisfied with there departure

it’s like a chain for buying a house or selling one it’s a fuxkig nightmare and with 3 days of the window left not practical. A lot of work has gone into Gallagher from summer dealings but it’s still a tough ask for the club to do it unless the remove the departure of a midfielder out the equation . But with just under half the season to go you would have

1 madders
2 Lo celso
3 skipp
4 sarr
5 Ben 10
6 bissouma
7 hoijberg
8 Gallagher

competing for 3 positions that’s 5 midfielders on the bench or left out . It’s not sensible .
