Apparently Steffan Freund and Paul Brush have taking over the U21's now

They were in charge for the last game on Tuesday too !

Freund was involved with a lot of the German youth teams so a good pedigree if this is his long term post, Brush has been with Spurs youth set up for a year or two now, but before that AM at Lincoln etc so not sure how deep his pedigree really is (although a top talent at West Ham in his youth but fell out of favour a couple of years later)

Tottenham Hotspur ‏@SpursOfficial Our U18 game away to Chelsea tomorrow has been postponed. We'll keep you updated on the rearranged date.

I assume another waterlogged pitch - but that's not confirmed

Goal to Stoke. Breakaway as we pushed forward, Joel Taylor carried the ball 30 yards before curling home from the edge of the box. 0-2, 90m.

Game over now I think

Edit : Confirmed FT 0-2

It looks like only McEvoy and Velkjovic survive from last season's great team, and the replacements are last season's U-21 squad players?

I'd probably add Miles to that list (full line ups http://www.myfootballfacts.com/TottenhamHotspurReservesAcademy2012-13.html ) , and add that a number of them were not considered for the u21's and played for the u19's with a few more (like Ward) playing neither u19 or u21 football last season. A lot of 18 year olds involved in the Spurs side too.

Very different from last season's side that was based around the great 1991/1992 born players intake

Stewart played quite a lot for the U21's last year didn't he ? Or am I thinking of the younger group (I know a couple of years ago he was in the Next Gen U19 group).

Must admit that was my first thoughts, but if you look at the lineups on the link I posted, he played maybe half a dozen times in the u21 league - mostly the u21 defence was Fredericks Hall Veljkovic, Fryers.

Fredericks straight into the team for Millwall's game against Ipswich.

Obika on the bench for Brighton.

Carroll starts for QPR.

Pritchard, Hall and Mason start for Swindon.
