He did well not to send Xhaka off for 2 clearly bookable offences before giving him a yellow for his 7th foul of the game when it was done and dusted?and for booking our players for so much as daring to breath on someoneWhen you say he did well, what did he do well?
Yeah I'm not sure how people view such a performance but still he wasn't great, was he?He did well not to send Xaka off for 2 clearly bookable offences before giving him a yellow for his 7th foul of the game when it was done and dusted?and for booking our players for so much as daring to breath on someone
Thought he was awful today. Shockingly bad referee in my opinion, I'm sure it was him who gave the Terry goal against us that Ledley had clearly stopped on the line in the final before as well.Yeah I'm not sure how people view such a performance but still he wasn't great, was he?
The referee's in premier league are shocking. There's a reason none of them were at the world cup. I honestly believe its gerring worse.
In respect of 2 decisions today, Dele's was outside the box, as soon as VAR would have seen that, it would not do a check.
And Kane has to stop this, is getting a reputation, and referees will be more tempted not to give more clear-cut penalties against him now. No penalty. Last week he didn't dive however, just initiated the contact, this week he does dive.
If we hadn’t of got the rub of the green against Man City then I bet we’d of got one of the penalty decisions in the last two games. It was too good to be true that it would save us every game like I was hoping. Just goes to show how regularly we are done over by the officials.
Isn't there a rule along the lines of "if the foul continues inside the box" it's a penalty?
I'm sure I've heard that said before.
Alli's feet are outside, but was definitely a foul.
with the Kane incident had that been the defender defending his ground (looking for contact) he would of got the free kick. Kane is perfectly allowed to protect his ground and not be shoved. he was then penalised for what looked like handball, which wouldn't of happen if he wasn't pushed. if it had been body contact that knocked Kane over I could understand it being classed as accidental collision, but pushing/shoving is a foul.

Sort of, if the referee hasn't blown his whistle, and another foul happens inside the box, including continuation from initial incident, then he can deem that he played advantage from the first incident.
But in this incident that was not the case. Dele was fouled (or at least had a coming together) outside the box, and then dived forward inside the box after any contact had happened.
VAR cannot check that, as can only check for penalties, sending offs (not for second yellow though), mistaken identity and goal/no goal decisions. This does not fall into any of those categories
But he was thrown to the floor by his body. Which was inside the box.
I know everyone says this, but is it actually happening? No one seems to be celebrating any less.
If you don't go over you don't get a penalty Harry is only doing what others do and for me some you win some you lose .
An almost identical incident against Arsenal was given as a penalty . Different ref different outcome just keep on going over Harry as you will definitely not get a penalty if you stay on your feet but you may get a penalty if you go over .
Although after last week against Newcastle you won't get a penalty even if your rugby tackled.
