Even when proved wrong you continue to go on......

I can't recall have blamed anyone for the current state of King, can you? I simply gave cred to Ramos for not playing him to frequently. Anything wrong with that?

About insulting.........one have to ask when people just don't get it even when it's spelled out for you. It's also kinda pathetic pointing out insults when giving them yourself time after time.
So what if i'm 6 years older than you and remember our team before you did........does that make you feel that you have less knowledge? Oh, sorry i forgot your wonderful time between 13-23 when you "had a life". Having a life doesn't have to mean that you're not picking up stuff or paying attention to things that happens around you.....I know since i still have a life.

Please don't use your precious time to make this post into 500 segments where you can point out things thet you clearly don't get anyway.
what was this all about anyway? why am i putting so much effort into this when i can't even remember what you were so wrong about (and i'm far too lazy to scroll up or refresh or anything - ask anyone. Ask Ever, he'll tell you what a lazy bastard i am) so that means, technically, i win!

I am still clinging to hope. I still wonder if he is truely buggered, how comes he hasnt retired from England internationals? If he was limited to 1 game every 3weeks. Surely he would retire from internationals as he would be unable to play an entire tournament.. Im clinging, but clinging hard.:)

It may be better for him to seek alternative opinion from Germany or the U.S. The States have the best sports medicine professionals. There seems to be a history of general incompetence of the so-called specialists the club uses.

Sorry RSS but you have got this one all wrong, not just in your being rather pompous towards the fella/bird but also in your interpretation of what he originally said.

You went off on a serious tangent that very little, if anything, to do with what was said.

I don't think it is beyond the realms of possibility, and this has actually been said by Iversen recently, that forcing players to play has worsened their injury problems?

Both players cited, Iversen and Anderton, were very fit players before they joined us and were important for us when they played. I feel that we have had little choice but to play these players when they could have done with a bit more rest.

Ledley could play tomorrow and no doubt would if he was allowed to, but the fact is it will delay his recovery and perhaps even lead to his not recovering fully at all.

I am not saying that I am right or that you are wrong, only that you dismissed the idea in a pompous fashion without actually reading/comprehending what was said.

It IS possible and you can't really prove otherwise, can you?

Spot on!

The truth is I doubt that anybody really knows whether he will fully recover or not. I went over on my ankle last March and damaged ligaments, not seriously, and was in a cast for 6 days. I was then on crutches for 2 weeks with a special support to stop my ankle from turning at all. I lost the crutches but had to wear the support for a further 2 weeks, should have been four, then physio for 6 weeks. I couldn't play football for 4 months. It was swollen for 3 months and it still hurts occasionally now.

I think the real evidence of the extent of his injury is the fact that he has not retired from international football. If he had been told that he will never play more than 1 in 3 games he would have had no choice but to retire. The England doctors would have access to his records and even Ledley tried to carry on, the decision would be taken from him and he would just not be selected for squads.
