Will probably start tonight for The Netherlands v Turkey in a pretty important match (as Gakpo is injured)

Yep, he starts on the left in a front three with Memphis & Berghuis

Gone off injured. The fourth injury among our senior players this international break - not including the three players who will be quarantining for ten days.

Looks like it was precautionary. Fwiw he was playing very good and was involved in 2 goals

Very big opportunity for Bergwijn, he is the most likely player to step up in this situation, he can play on the left which was his best position at PSV. We have to hope he can step up.

am i missing something here? he's started all three games at lw so far - where he's done ok overall but still delivered little in the final third.

I meant more with Son being out he has to step up, as you say he's been playing in his preferred position but given the Son injury we need somebody who can contribute in the goals column and Bergwijn on the left side is our best chance of stepping up in my opinion.

We're gonna need this man to turn into prime Arjen Robben asap

Or we're gonna really struggle if Son is out for a while

Hope he’s fit for Palace. While profligate, he’s actually started the season very well on terms of ball carrying and pinning back the opposition and while I’ve always been a bit a little sceptical of him I really think he’s a goal away from exploding onto the scene.

Sorry people missed the 1st half, was it a bad injury or still struggling with previous injury?

Done something to them same ankle problem he had, had to be walked off.

Don’t expect to see him until after the next international break, probably rushed him back too soon in hindsight.
