I reckon he could do well in Turkey, the issue might be his wages. Even as a Fener fan, I've come to terms that the current team could do worse than Sissoko. :)

So, is this another point for the “one in, one out” crowd with Sissoko going to Qatar and Sarr coming from Metz?

Only if Sarr goes to London. If he stays in Metz on loan, then he's a lagniappe as far as this TW is concerned.

A sensible move

We're not going to get anyone in europe to get bear his wages and he won't play here anymore.

Hopefully it frees us to get a centre midfielder In.

I will be happy and a little sad when he goes

had a soft spot for him, especially when he had that spell of amazing form a few years ago

If he does go, his only highlight was that long ball up to Llorente, who laid it off to Moura.
For that, he owns us nothing.

When was he amazing? Must have missed that.

I remember him being ok for a couple of games that's about it.
Stop being so reductionist jesus christ

I literally picked a random page on here (around page 200) and there were several people saying he was having brilliant games/season

so many on here are so reactionary, disrespectful and petulant at times

he at one point was vital for the team and overall was a great pro who definitely put the effort

(something you can't say about N'Dombele)

2018/19 he was one of our best players, and was actually considered to be one of the most consistent performers in the PL.

People just usually use the bs-penalty-that-wasn't against him, whilst disregarding that we'd not have been in the final if he wasn't in the team.

I remember deeply missing him when he was injured in the home leg against Ajax.

Holding his arm up like that, especially with the way handballs were/are being treated in the CL (e.g. City's pen against us in the QF), was incredibly dumb and almost certainly ran counter to any preparation or reminders from the coaching staff in the buildup (as well as just...common sense).

But I still like him overall and would miss him. I remember stuff like the driving run through Inter's defence in the CL groups that season, setting up the winning goal quite late on.
