We do need to move him on but then we may need a replacement as quite short on hard working central midfielders.

Poor fella, I know he's not technically gifted, but he always put a shift in and had some very good games for us.

I bid thee farewell mousse, please leave this window.

I can imagine Paratici trying to bundle him in with some of our Serie A targets. Brozovic for £15-20m and Sissoko sounds good.

With the greatest respect I don’t see how a team can look at sissokos attributes and think, yep that’s exactly what we’re missing

I honesty think a club with full backs that push on would target him as a cdm in a pivot. He covers the space the full back leaves pretty well, and can win the ball and carry it out of pressure to start counter attacks.

Any team that possesses a lot or wants to be on the ball the majority of the match is where he shows his weaknesses.

FFS I saw Sissoko in the lineup for Strasbourg Vs PSG but then realised it was a different one FFS.

I'm really surprised that there is little or no interest.
Reports suggest he's a top pro and he could do a decent job for many teams out there. (It's gotta be down to money/ wages)

Issue may be whether he has any interest in going to Middle East. I think that’s realistically the market for him.

Yeah- it's not everyone's cup of tea moving out there. Toby did for a few years.
He's still in and around the French squad so he's not useless if he's kept here as a squad player

Sissoko would definitely be a good asset for some of the clubs in the bottom half. Palace could really do with someone like him, they look threadbare in the middle of the park and Vieira would know he’d be getting a top Pro with PL experience for the dog fight they will be in. Watford should be looking at him too, both options would mean he’d stay in London and be a regular.

Tottenham appointed Nuno Espírito Santo as José Mourinho’s permanent successor and the arrival of the new manager hasn’t helped Moussa Sissoko.

That’s according to L’Equipe, who say the 31-year-old has ‘understood for several weeks’ he won’t have an important role to play under the former Wolves manager.

The midfielder started to see his appearances restricted in the second half of last season and despite the limited game time with Spurs, Didier Deschamps still included him in the France squad for Euro 2020.

With a contract expiring in 2023, Sissoko is aware he is at a ‘pivotal moment’ in his career, and to change clubs, his options are limited.

So far, the former Newcastle United man has had enquires from the Middle Eastern clubs, but he doesn’t favour a move there.

Therefore, it’s possible the player will continue at the north London club, where he will have to battle it out with several players for regular game time.

Sissoko’s compatriot Tanguy Ndombele also has his future uncertain and L’Equipe add Spurs have indicated that if an ‘opportunity presents itself’ for the former Lyon man, they will study it.

Ndombele, like Sissoko, doesn’t seem to be in Nuno’s plans at Tottenham this season.

The French duo could improve their situations by getting themselves a move away from the Premier League side, but now have less than two weeks to sort it out.
