A lot of jokes will get played at Sissoko’s expense over the next day or so, not the most naturally gifted of players but people are quick to forget he carried the team for 18 months. Got voted player of the season on here and by Spurs Legends. Wish him all the best and will suit Watford. Invaluable player to get you up the pitch.
I like Sissoko he always gave his best and was popular with his team mates. Unfortunately he wasn't of the quality we need to get champions league and competing to win trophies i wish him all the best for the future. The jokes about Moussa are only a bit of fun and nothing harmful most fans appreciate what he has done for the club.

Always found him a frustrating player, plays with heart and works so hard off the ball. Is a clubs dream if you dont have possession as he works tirelessly to win it back. But then when you have it he really dont want it. If tanguy had 80% of his commitment he would be some player

£10m seems like a fair price to me. Thought we might even be able to squeeze an extra couple of mil out of them but as I say, fair. He’s a solid prem player and will be one of the first names on their team sheet I reckon.

Given that he's 32 I'm surprised at getting £10m. I'd have been happy with less just to get the salary off the books.

Is he 32 is he? Thought he was a year or 2 younger. Still, his body will probably hold out until he’s 57 so they’ll get some good use out of him.

He's a loyal workhorse who's played at the top level for both club and country. I think we should give the bloke some more respect as to what he's worth.

this all over, i agree he's probably nit good enough for us - i dont agree with the euphoria in this place about him going, he's been a damn sight more professional than harry kane with all this stuff about his future.

ive probably been guilty slagging him off too, so im not immune from criticism but lets dial it down eh?

Really good news if true! As much as he is a likeable character, the negative effect on the system and how much pressure we invite with the hiding and pointing when he is on the pitch is huge and will not be missed. We’re a much better team without the weak link. Great man though so I wish him all the best!

The thing is that I have liked the transfer targets we currently have. Buying younger players is what we need to be doing. I'm already getting quite excited about Gil.

But to buy more we are going to need to sell. So I'll be excited if we can find buyers for the likes of Sissoko, Aurier, Winks etc. I hold no ill will towards them, I just want them sold.

Probably inaccurate but I actually think Sissoko would be useful to Allegri as he can fill in and do a decent job, Serie A may suit him more at this stage in his career. He grafts and can do a tactical job even if he can't pass effectively.

Although, it is a little strange why they seem to be happy to offload McKennie.
I agree it could suit Moussa there. Quite a few of our 'out' players will do well in leagues that play a bit slower. I hope Moussa gets a great deal wherever he ends up. Really love that guy.

What a professional.

He has limitations we all know this, he also has great discipline works hard for the team. I was/am comfortable with Sissoko in the big games against the Madrid Barcelona Milan Man United BM etc he uses his strengths very well.

Imo he could do much better than Watford.
