O'Neill is a good coach, works the players hard, tries to create a team and always has a go. Good loan for him, if he applies himself he will get games IMO.

Come on Jack. Let's see what you can do on a cold and wet Friday night in Stoke

Looks like Stoke have dominated the game but Watford have been more clinical as they're 2-0 up.

Don't think I've seen him touch the ball in the last 20 minutes. Stoke have been pretty abject.
Just as I say that, wins a free kick 35 yards out. From that, ends up taking a decent shot on goal. His overall movement has been very languid, though.

Off in the 82nd minute. Was peripheral in the bit I saw. O'Neill would probably prefer him to work a bit harder. We'll see.

Literally 30 seconds after he's subbed, Stoke score. LOL

Quiet second half but was apparently very good in the first. Most of stokes fans agreed he was their best player.

I watched the first half then MAFS Australia. Jack Clarke looked good if very raw. He looked faster than I remembered, crossed well but quite lightweight and the type that could easily drift out of games.

He strikes me as a very old fashioned winger in style, which I like. He's definitely got something, but whether that will work in the modern game only time will tell.

He is 20 but you'd think he was 16.

A long way from being ready for our first team, I'd say, but I'm very interested in seeing how he develops.

The new series of MAFS Australia is amazing though - you should definitely watch it.

Yeah I thought so too, but only saw some of the first half and he didn’t get the ball that much. He looked a lot more comfortable and confident at this level though and I suspect it will be where he ends up.

Glad to see the kid got his debut soon after his loan transfer. Hope he can do good and maybe we can get some cash for him later

I hope he can do good and play for Spurs in a year or two.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Do you not think that he can make it at the club?

Definitely needs to develop some more upper body strength to in order to deal with opposition defenders who will try and push him off balance.
