Eriksen is not the be all and end all. He is not playing well at all. The four you mentioned were very good together a few seasons but it is no longer as effective as it had been. Dele is not exactly pulling up roses either. Lamela has been on form and seems twice the player Eriksen is at the moment. Give him a run playing central behind Kane, add Moura and Son on either side, that to me is a very credible alternative as those four are on form. Where is the mantra that players should be picked on form and merit, or was that all just talk?What exactly is the alternative, especially with Lo Celso crocked? Dele, Eriksen, Son and Kane have only played a couple of full games together in the last six months, and one of those was the CL final where Kane was half-fit. There's no doubt the the four of them together are greater than the sum of their parts.
