I’m going to go out in a limb here and say we have turned a corner with Jose...I’m sure we will have the odd Inconsistency but that will only change if we upgrade the team

We're starting to be less wasteful with our opportunities. Compare it to Sheff Utd and it's getting there.

We still need players who can play it quicker. Lamela did well that time but hes made a mess of a few situations.

Bergwijn is still not 100% on the same wavelength as some of the others bit that'll take time.

We already know this but we really need a DM who can move the ball quicker and play longer accurate passes.

I know people will say Newcastle had a lot of shots but a large percentage of them were from distance and well off target. I'd be more worried if they had 5 or 6 clear cut chances. They mostly had half chances or punts from longer ranges, which is fairly typical for a Jose team.

Same thought. Europa is so exhausting. I don't think Mourinho wants it either. Just paying lips service to say wanna win it the third time. I rather we win the league cup and FA cup then secure a good strong top 4 next season.
