Sure, but let’s also be realistic in that Insigne isn’t coming to Spurs to be a squad player.
Yeah he's 30 and this is likely his last (and only) big move so he won't want to be a benchwarmer.

You'd have to assume Conte would shift either him or Son to the the right if we sign him - highly doubt we'd sign him if it's not to use him in the first 11 most games.

Goals and assists. If he can handle the rigours of the Premier league given he's 30, and, if his form transfers to the prem, then this could be an excellent acquisition.

If we achieved the amazing and managed to pull the Vlahovic deal off as well, keeping both Kane and Son, that attacking third is looking pretty damn fine to me.

Of course, if Insigne is seen as playing rotation with Son on the left, right side would still need addressing at some point I feel.

It’s exactly the clever kind of signing we should be using paratici and Conte to get. I think what will actually happen is that the attacking positions behind Kane will be pretty fluid and him and son could swap sides at will.

Pretty much tongue in cheek, coz I can't see us getting all three, but imagine if we got Traore as well.

Vlahovic, Insigne and Traore. Goals, assists and pace all over the place when including Kane and Son. :D

I'm not keen on Traore at all, and I hope that we can move on to other targets. Vlahovic and Insigne on the other hand are phenomenal players that would immediately improve our team/squad

I'm undecided. His pace would certainly get us on the front foot, it's whether he can up end product of his game that that leaves me conflicted.

I don't think spending a King's ransom would sit comfortably with me, but I can't deny that I'm intrigued to see what he could do in a better team.

What you are saying there is that if he’s an excellent acquisition, then he’ll be an excellent acquisition. I think we can all agree with that.

Sorry, you've lost me somewhat.

Point I was trying to make was that if he could handle the rigours of our league aged 30, and if he can carry his form from Italy to the prem, then he'd be an excellent acquisition.

However, as we've seen numerous times, no guarantees when players arrive from abroad.

Good we want players hungry to push their way into first team. We don’t want players too comfortable sitting on the bench and collecting their cash. We want them pushing the established ones to perform better and to provide an option when they are off their game.

Napoli apparently interested in Sanchez. Could be a creative deal where we loan Insigne for 6 months and it reduces the fee for Davinson.

He’s not a traditional winger. He doesn’t spray crosses or cut wide all that often. He does 3 things very well: find space, hold up the ball and pass. He also has a hell of a shot on him and digs in and wins quite a few duals.

Surely him and son would play in the same position and neither would be as good on the right?

Insigne always cuts in from the left onto his right to shoot / pass from what I've seen?

Could he play more central and behind Kane? Like Dele used to Do. Not sure if he has played that position much before.

Fantastic player anyone who cant see that knows naff all about football.

Having said that I dont really see how this happens.

1) while Napoli have had a run of bad form and are down in 4th, this still represents one if the best chances for Napoli to win the title in some time. If they win their game in hand they are 4 points from the top.

A player like Insigne, born in Napoli lives and breathes the club it would be odd for him to leave at this time, even if Napoli fancy the money.

2) Conte has never shown himself to be a particular fan of the player. In Euro 2016 Insigne was selected for the national team, but despite being widely considered Italy's best offensive player He hardly played, instead the limited, but energetic, Eder started and Giaccherini as well.

That was a long time ago, maybe Conte also wants to play 3 forwards so there is a more natural place for him. I cant see him starting anywhere but on the left wing, considering just how right footed he is. But who knows. Son in theory can play on the right but isnt as effective there.

He could. But if we are moving to a front 2, youd think Son would start. I guess he could play a 3-2-1-2 but I'm not sure Insigne would be a good 10 in that system.

I was thinking you could also go son and Kane up top with him behind the creative behind in midfield and the wingbacks creating the width?

Would mean we keep Kane and Son together in the area of the pitch we need them and have someone who can create behind them doing the work that they both have to drop deep to do just now. But iv not see him in the middle to know if that would work.
