This formation isn’t anything new, it was what Mourinho utilized the majority of last season with different personnel.

As @Spurs' Pipe Dreams mentioned we played with a back 4 in defense [4-2-3-1] and a 3-2-4-1 in possession with the RB pushing forward and the LB tucked in [what Davies and Aurier did nearly all season]. Sess did not play LWB he played Sonny’s normal position as LW.

He has still been involved in things like the sky walk, so not sure about that. We have other players who haven't been seen for a while. More likely it's them.

He very well could’ve tested positive after the skywalk event, which was before our second friendly match against Reading. Hasn’t been seen anywhere since, whereas Lo Celso and Foyth were in the stands during our friendly matches.

Lo Celso and Sanchez were in stadium. South America nations doesn't play now and I think that's the answer

Agree, under prem rules it’s 1 week isolation if no symptoms, subject to negative test. 2 weeks with symptoms.

GLC and Sanchez were at games at weekend (Football London) so it’s probably just the individual pre-season plans they are on.
