Harry Kane joked that Arsenal fans have a “soft respect” for him after scoring against the Gunners for Bayern Munich.

Kane, who has enjoyed a fine debut season with Bayern despite their wider struggles, became the highest-scoring opposition player in the history of the Emirates Stadium. The penalty took him to six goals there and he was interviewed by the TNT Sports pundits after the game.

While conducting an interview, a group of home supporters chanted anti-Tottenham songs at Spurs’ all-time leading goalscorer, who joked: “I think they have a soft respect for me.”

Of his penalty, Kane said watching David Raya against Porto led him to decide to wait for the Arsenal goalkeeper to make the first move.

"It was one of them when I have done a bit of research of his games against Porto,” he said.

“It was nice to see him go early and make it easier for me."

I feel the pundits and Media Ruined the Pochettino Spurs project

If it is, let’s grow organically, it’s not banging on about trophies every two seconds when it wasn’t fair. When you have time we need more money to plug gaps and wholes in the squad.

The reason we didn’t win Was mainly because we didn’t have a big enough squad. We would lose Kane and son at key times.

Massively overachieved and people like Neville, all they could do was say they haven’t won anything, Kane needs to leave for a bigger club.

Reality was the only clubs are finished above us over last 10 years consistently have had oil money

I would argue Liverpool had it indirectly through the sale of Coutinho and Torres, who went massively over value And bailed them out of the bad recruitmen.

I really feel kind of forced out of the club with negativity from certain people in the media
