Wait... is @Hercules actually King Charles?
Jimmy Saveloys
Wait... is @Hercules actually King Charles?
This is the ideal for me, he stays and sees where we go, but if then decides to leave its not on a free....Another scenario, 1 year extension with release clause next summer if we are still trophyless
If he loves the club and wants us to get money. If the release clause is say 50m clubs would still pay that for him and he can pick. Why would he sign that? I'm not being facetious, I'm genuinely asking why you (and others) think he would sign a new deal before next summer?
If Kane turns down the offer he's absolutely within his rights to just stick his fingers in his ears and run down his contract.
Probably naive on my part, but after the club has spent the entire summer dealing with this nonsense at his request, hi-jacking our entire transfer planning and Ange's pre-season in the process, only for him to have a change of heart at the 11th hour, you'd hope he'd at least sign some some of deal that means the club gets a fee for him next summer.
I may have been saying 'waste of everyone's' time in jest'...
But the point is that it's a bit strange for Kane to agree everything with Bayern/Tuchel beforehand and then pull out when the deal has been agreed.
Likewise, it would be such a downer if we lose if he stays! It’s going to be such a downer If we lose our first game of the season just after selling our best player.
Don’t get angry over the scenario you just made up in your head fellaI could be reading too much into it but i wonder has Kane been told to sit tight and see out his contract by a PL team for example Man Utd like Mbappe has been told by Real Madrid.
We all know Kane would prefer to win trophies with an English team.
If this is the case i would be fuming and would put him alongside Sol Campbell in my eyes seriously doubt it's in Harry's character though.
They’ve just spent £76m on hojland just can’t see it imo especially as owners are selling supposedlyHope it isn't United fuck i hate them with a passion!
True but i have a feeling United would want/need him most and with this history and endless money convince him.Not sure Man I will be guaranteed of winning stuff most years, especially when the board for them keeps trying to sell them.
City, Newcastle and probably Liverpool I could see. But united to me are below those clubs.
He could lock in contractual guarantees of a huge wage increase while maintaining control over his future (assuming the buyout clause is set at a level that would not put clubs off). It's also been reported that he wants the club to get a fee if he leaves. If the buyout clause activates next summer, he'd have his future in his hands on the same timeline as the current expiration of his deal. Why would he sign that? I'm not being facetious, I'm genuinely asking why you (and others) think he would sign a new deal before next summer?
I think you've answered your own question, there. So to sum up where we are at 4:35 PM - Harry is hesitating and Levy, instead of doing all he can to get him to stay is trying to push him out the door because……….money!
I hate that man more than is healthy
assuming of course this isnt just BS twitter nonsense
Did you get that information from the voices in you're head ffsSo to sum up where we are at 4:35 PM - Harry is hesitating and Levy, instead of doing all he can to get him to stay is trying to push him out the door because……….money!

Kane's getting cold feet, isn't he
Great for us and the club but This would make absolutely zero sense for Harry. That would put a transfer fee into Tottenham’s pockets rather than a signing on fee going directly to his own next Summer. The 200kpw week difference we’d give signing a 1 year deal would be easily trumped my a sign on welcome.Another scenario, 1 year extension with release clause next summer if we are still trophyless
He's been tapped up by Bayern and he isn't going to go there. Who would trust Charlie Kane at this point!True but i have a feeling United would want/need him most and with this history and endless money convince him.
Really hoping Kane hasn't been tapped up as would be domething United would definitely do.
It is a big difference, not least that she wouldn't be wise to fly now, even if she can get a doctor to sign off on that. She would stay in England for the birth, and Harry might not get back in time for that and I'm sure he would hate to miss the birth of his child, plus he wouldn't be able to support her in labour. Then he couldn't stay with her and the baby very long as he'd have to get back... He's obviously a family man who dotes on his wife and kids and I think this will be a big factor in his decision. It could have been "yes I will go if you meet the value", but if he said that when his wife was 6 mo pregnant and she's 8 mo now things change.
I’m not sure if I can actually believe this even though I have serious doubts about levy. I was thinking this though. So to sum up where we are at 4:35 PM - Harry is hesitating and Levy, instead of doing all he can to get him to stay is trying to push him out the door because……….money!
