I'll be honest in that Even if Levy were to say this, I don't think Ange accepts it one bit. I think it's all just a bit frustrating for DL because there will have been an awful lot of time and effort put into this, but he doesn't have any power really imo. Yes he could declare that he doesn't play but he's the England captain and arguably our greatest ever player . The fans wouldn't accept it, the media wouldn't accept it, ane the rest of the team wouldn't accept it. It just wouldn't happen.
Of course. I was just picking up on the "there's nothing the club can do". Well there is, but there are consequences of the doom variety.

I could be reading too much into it but i wonder has Kane been told to sit tight and see out his contract by a PL team for example Man Utd like Mbappe has been told by Real Madrid.
We all know Kane would prefer to win trophies with an English team.
If this is the case i would be fuming and would put him alongside Sol Campbell in my eyes seriously doubt it's in Harry's character though.

100% he has been sounded out and has a better offer than Bayern

What if, and I wouldn’t be surprised by this. Kane wants to stay but levy wants him to leave and take the £. If word got out, I couldn’t imagine the meltdown.
LOOOOOL

WLB said it was Kane and his brother who asked Levy to negotiate with Bayern so I doubt it's Levy pushing him out the door.

You don't need to be ITK to know why. I love Spurs to the core but if I were Kane I wouldn't be signing a deal until I was sure I knew the direction the club were going and that Ange was the real deal. Absolutely no chance whatsoever. Especially when I knew I had the choice of pretty much every team in the world in a years time.

I think we’d have to come as close as Arsenal were to winning the league in order to convince him.
We’ll have teething issues with it being a new tactical approach which will end up affecting where we finish in the league and I don’t think us being on the right track would be enough. If we had two years to convince him I think we could, Anges appointment has come a year or two too late.

I mean there is something the club can do, and that's not play him. It's beyond unlikely, like beyond anything extremely remote. But that is an option.

This option would likely cause a shit storm with the fans, but why play him for a season, and then try and find a player next season to play his position?

Get a player in this TW and play him now.

At least Ange would have a season to figure it out rather than having this season as a warm up for next?

On top of that if he does stay, what signal does that send out to players in the squad who are seen to be playing second fiddle to a player leaving in a seasons time?

Another scenario, 1 year extension with release clause next summer if we are still trophyless
Something along these lines has always seemed like the outcome that would suit both Kane and the club, as Kane would maintain a similar degree of control over his future and the club would get another year to convince him to stay (whilst also guaranteeing a fee if he leaves). Prof said today that he's turned down our contract offers so, assuming one of them was structured along these lines, it doesn't seem that Kane is currently willing to go for it.

Not sure Man I will be guaranteed of winning stuff most years, especially when the board for them keeps trying to sell them.

City, Newcastle and probably Liverpool I could see. But united to me are below those clubs.
