Sky are now saying Bayern are in for Caceido. Be funny if they came straight in with a £100M bid…. Be like Grealish Kane all over again.

If he goes that’s sad news but timing wise this is a shitshow and my biggest concern is how toxic the atmosphere is going to be at the ground this season (sky high prices and selling our biggest star).

I hope for the teams sake it isn’t but I can’t see anything else other than a totally hostile atmosphere
Were you at the lane for Nuno’s first league game when HK was on strike?

There wasn’t any toxicity even then. it was the usual new season positivity. Possibly more so as everyone knew the players needed even more support.

Lol. Wtf are his wife and kids gonna do over there?

People move countries all the time. I moved to another European country last year, and I'm well into my 30s. Likewise, I have friends from the UK who live in different European countries. There is life outside the UK, you know. It's actually quite nice!

Hope we squeeze in 'special relationship' with Bayern like we did with Real Madrid after the Modric sale, that worked out great for us.
Yeah, who do you think Arsenal will get out of this relationship? Probably will end up with Alphonso Davies and Matthys Tel

To be honest, I just want an end to it so I can concentrate on supporting Spurs. It’s an exciting season coming up, led by a manager that understands how we as a club want to play. Kane would obviously be missed, but it’s a team game. Provided we get 2 or 3 quality players in we’ll be ok.

Come on you Spurs!

Regarding the Florian tweet, i just noticed the line regarding the contract "probably" until 2028. He might be dialed in to some of the story but clearly isn't dialed in as that type of detail would be known.

I don't think that's the issue, it's having a young family, with another on the way and having no support network/family around you to help!

Two possibilities :
Either :
Levy is selling Kane as he doesnt want to lose him on free, regardless of Kane decision to stay this season

Or,

Bayern leaked the info after sending new bid that Levy asked for....but before Spurs & Kane family decided

In first case, why would Kane stay knowing Levy wanted him sold. In second case, why would he go to Bayern, knowing they are pressurizing him publicly
Out of everyone in this situation Kane is the one who has the least amount of pressure on his side, imo. Most fans want him to stay even though he can leave for free next year, he can get closer to the record and leave for free next year (earning a nice signing bonus) by choosing which team he goes to, and unlike PSG with Mbappé, we wouldn't bench Kane for a year if he stays

If he doesn't accept this offer, I believe his image will be scratched with neutrals around the world (by choosing to be a loser staying with us), but how vital it is for Kane I don't know.

Exactly... There's a lot of bang average/crap players that have league title medals.... It's a much more exclusive club being top PL goal scorer. And unless Haaland stays at city for a long time you'd think it'd take a while for someone else to break it if Kane broke shearer's record.

I think he's bonkers for even contemplating moving countries at this point in his life with a young family, being on the cusp of breaking a record at a place you're comfortable and the main man at. And to move to Germany of all places? Lol. Wtf are his wife and kids gonna do over there? Just so he can win a one team league title.
Germany is a stunning country. His kids will likely flourish. Munich is also a lovely city. Defo worth a visit if you haven't been...

True, although we don't know what provisions Kane and Bayern would make. He's not your average Joe moving abroad. He's hugely wealthy, moving to a hugely wealthy club. He could potentially employ and bring family along with him.

Me at 12:31: Couldn't give a shit anymore, I'll do some work

Me at 12:32: I'll have a quick check on the Kane thread, see if anything has changed.
I quit my job to start a new business. First day of planning it in detail is today. This thread has already fucked the business plan.

The whole Kaveh/Sky pushing “it’s not done yet” narrative is likely then trying to keep as many eyeballs on the screen as possible. They love to drag things out.

I know you're all dying to know, so ill tell you. I'm still super chilled about either outcome.

Kane goes - a new glorious era for Spurs under Ange. The Spurs go marching on.

Kane stays - a glorious send off season for Kane, banging in 40+ goals and firing us to a top 4 finish.

Neither/either outcome is the doom prophecy that X% of you are predicting, nor are we winning the treble if he stays.

I'll be looking forward to exciting, watchable football under Ange either way.

And thats all I've ever wanted from my beloved Tottenham Hotspur.
