Would there even be any sort of statement? If he doesnt go this weekend is the only certainty he stays confirmed when the window shuts?

I know there have been several things about a deadline before the start of the season but the window still has 22 days to run. Would seem if no transfer is confirmed this weekend it would still be floating around until then anyway.
